Ranger and paladin are core classes from the players handbook from 4th edition. Not sure about Bards.. It's been a while since I looked at that book. Mostly because it felt too MMO-y to play sitting around a table... As an MMO it works. I very much want to play different classes... Druid, paladin, monk... Some of my…
I want to play a dragonborn... Fus ro d- *stabs the skyrim guy* No! None of that! Shame on you! I mean a real dragonborn... With the scales and the fire breathing, and the being super tall so I can hit my head on everything humans take for granted!
On my Guardian Fighter, I am currently able to make things better than I can use at the moment. While questing, I keep the gather iron ore (Now high quality iron ore) task up at all times across as many slots as I can manage... And before I go to bed (Or just before logging out,) I drop as many slots on mass steel plates…
Technically, they said AFTER launch... So sometime between now, and when the world explodes in a giant fiery cataclysm of pain and death, we will have drow and a new class.
Maybe it's set up in advance with loot from all classes, but it needs a trigger to drop the new ones? Or, maybe they have it set up so that only loot for classes present will drop.
My only around the table PnP story is kinda funny, but requires a bit of background on me first. I am mute. Meaning I cannot speak. Normally, I use a text to speech program to communicate with others who do not know sign language. However, for the game, the DM thought this would be disruptive, so he had me write notes and…
If they're gonna leave, they'll leave whether they get a box o' stuff or not. Anyway, box o' stuff coming with today's patch. So no point in arguing about what it should or shouldn't have inside, or when we should get it.
I just gotta say... I love the admin people here. They have a sense of humor! I mean, yea, back in my WoW days, I got a *hug* from a GM when I was having a bad day. But I NEVER say anyone even comment on someone asking for confirmation of compensatory tacos! The only way this can get better, is if they either e-mail us…
If they do a wipe of everything, the only thing I'd ask for is all of the Zen I've paid for and my starter pack that I bought credited back to the account so I could use them.
The difference here is that, him sneaking into the theater won't raise the price of the next ticket, and the other guy cheating on the test won't make the next one harder. If they leave these duped Astral diamonds in the game, everything on the auction house will shoot up in price very quickly. Yea, it may end up being…
The reason it is not pay to win is because you cannot buy an advantage over someone who plays enough to have gotten the best drops. Yes, you can pay to save time, but when you're in the same gear as the free guy, and he or she has spent more time getting to know the character and getting better at the game instead of…
Best advice for playing a GWF pre-15? Leap in, right clight charge up, AOE slow thingy, right click charge up. Anything still alive? If only one, leftclick spam, or use the healing strike on it. If more than one? You guessed it... Right click charge up. And yes, you do need some potions. The GF would need them too if block…
Other than not having to rest to regain powers, not having healing surges to keep track of, and having MMO style HP and damage... This is pretty much spot on 4th edition D&D Granted, I was not particularly fond of the pen and paper version of 4th edition D&D, but as an MMO, it works.
The next classes should be paladin, ranger, and warlock. Because all three were starter classes for 4th edition. I do agree though, the next rogue class being a ranged specialist would be interesting..
The sneak attack class feature? What I dislike about it, is that you get an ability that modifies stealth.... Before you can stealth! That makes no sense. First strike gives slight bonus damage to attacks for 6 seconds after leaving stealth. I think this should be what sneak attack does. Give it while in stealth, and for 6…
Based on my, admittedly limited, experience so far, if you're using all of your AOE skills solo, you'll kill the group faster and take less damage if you pull 4 or more mobs than a rogue with comparable gear and level. The tougher enemies do take you a bit longer, but they too will fall if you're using the right skills.…
