Thank you for the info, I went ahead and got the companion as well. One thing to note about it that I think has not been mentioned on this thread: it is a purple quality companion. Of course, the active bonus is useless after the Winter Festival so it may not stay in people's permanent setup.

Same here. Got a prize of 7 lights for the Mayor, with the companion active and summoned, but in my currencies the number of lights only increased by 5. It is bugged.

Charge promo news item reads "Players who purchase $10 or more worth of Zen will get the SImril Helper companion." Thanks @caunsidh ! That did the trick, fixed the problem. :smiley: Much appreciated! I had dismissed keybinds being a problem as things would not work even if moved to another encounter slot, nothing was double-bound, and everything worked on other toons. But that was it!

Yes, the bow is equipped and I am fine shooting arrows, as long as they do not have an area effect.
