Except that most of the alts are level 70 and too low item level to run skirmishes. And given how they built the guild cleric quests killing off smaller guilds seems definitely to have been planned. I mean the alternative would be that the whole company is below IQ 70 and that level of raw stupidity seems far less likely…
Yes that combination of stopping small guild advancement and forcing high item levels that you partly get from high guild level is a double strike to the gut.

They had already kind of forgotten about fresh 70s and guilds even before this change as the number of dungeon shard quests you could do at that point was only a couple a week(the easy challenges), but at least the 7500 limit was fairly fast to reach for much higher rate, unlike the 11k.
Many mobs can get stuck unreachable in places and break quests. The two pirate quests in chult both have mobs jumping into the water at the ship stage and you cannot follow them as the water is deadly. Quests with doors that require all mobs to be killed before opening break when some mob is pushed to some unseen ledge.…
The two pirate quests in chult are really hard to enter now. The place where you need to clock on the boat at the docks is really small. Before you could basically clock anywhere on the boat and now you have to be in the exactly right place and facing the exactly right direction.

At level 70 you get two quests: Do random epic dungeon and Do random Skirmish. The former requires item level 11 000, the second 10 000. So they cannot be done by most level 70 characters.
