  • I didn't get that impression at all from him. At least he had the gourds and time to post a video, even if it was middle of the road. And I'm not sure what innovative play you expect in this game, it's very limited on what you can build and do already, especially as a GWF.
  • There is no such thing as ganking in a 5v5 match up that you signed in to willingly. It's called stupidity when one of your foes runs into a group of your team all by his lonesome. It's their own fault. Ganking is when you are mobbed unwillingly by someone or taken by surprise. Also, who cares if he used pots? That's…
  • I went through it pretty easily using a single target focus of Flourish, Restoring Strike, and Takedown. I found WMS and Slam was enough while solo'ing for AOE, though sometimes I switch out Takedown for Roar for the quick determination to get into Unstoppable quicker.
  • Yeah, it seems that same thing happens in all new MMOs now. The pvp is always more balanced before cap level where gear starts to overcome all else and people learn the cheese mechanics. A lot of players are still learning the ins and outs in lower level as well and not every class comes into their own at the same time, so…
  • Ah, so that explains what happened in the graveyard zone when I was there a few weeks ago. The door stopped sparkling and everyone was standing there dumbfounded. I finally just changed instances, but this seems to cover why it was happening.
  • Many say it's a thankless job because they sacrifice fun to play the support role and babysit others. Have you even played a healer? Everybody always wants one around, but no one wants to take on or step up to the role themselves and there is a reason for this. What he said is true in my experience. Same thing goes for…
  • Beta is not a free pass to exploit things to benefit yourself, no matter how you may twist it.
  • Finding bugs and reporting on said bugs is one thing, exploiting and taking advantage of said bugs is another.
  • Yeah, I discovered this place just yesterday while wandering about and immediately thought the same. It's a prime place for a role play hang around and not a lot of traffic from non roleplayers.
  • I'll be honest, I haven't roleplayed at all yet; nor do I even do it that much, compared to when I was younger. I'm still too busy leveling and trying out things with all the classes and exploring the game. I have limited time now days, and it's just hard to squeeze in everything I want to do, so it's usually something I…
  • If you aren't at the start or end of the bracket with any class, then you are affected by this bug. Doesn't matter what class, it's a scaling bug. That's why some people feel okay, and some do not at different times. Or it just scales horribly in the mid range I should say, it might not even be a bug.
  • All I know is that before the patch I could hit shift at anytime and it responded right away and I went into block stance. I could charge into a group of mobs and hit shift right away to soak up their alpha strike, and then proceed as normal. Now, however, I charge in and hit shift and half the time it does nothing, and I…
  • Everyone has the option to get a mount with time/money, so I do not find it a big deal. However, I wouldn't mind them disabling them in pvp for the sake of balance, even though I have a fast mount. Not having mounts would go along way to giving the mobility classes a role to play, instead of everyone being able to do it.
  • As far as being an exploit in a bugged sense, I do not believe so. It is intended from what I have seen in most cases. However, it is exploiting a mechanic when you start taking 2 control wizards and clerics to round up all mobs and trivially destroy everything quickly. It essentially makes GWF and GF pointelss/useless to…
  • He just rolled a double 1 on his dex check, that is all.
  • I don't know if I would trust to eat anything that was handled by a zombie. =P
  • Many Roleplayers have their own code and guidelines, and things can often get muddled, but you seem to have covered the basics. Never take control of another player is the major one. For instance, you can attempt to cut someone's head off, but saying you cut someone's head off just won't cut it. (see what I did there) And…
  • I usually wait the first couple of drops to get a feel for how my party is going to be in these regards. If they start needing constantly, so will I, or I will never see a single drop. However, my usual routine is need a few here, greed a few there, and pass on stuff that can be used by another class in the party.
  • I stopped doing dailies/pvp altogether or rarely, just so I can do the skirmishes and dungeons while leveling.
  • Human and Half Orc seem to be the best choices from a min/max perspective for GWF. Also, they can be semi tanky if built for it and do massive aoe/add control late game and can easily top damage. Just look around for some videos.
  • You can go to the home page and see a brief description or usually going through a zone builds up to the dungeon that's in said zone. But yes, they do seem rather story light.
  • One of my fondest PnP characters was a timid and paranoid, gnome mage called Spoofy, who had a knack for getting into bad situations and somehow escaping. His real name was nearly unpronounceable. Ah, good times.

  • I agree with Shultzilla, it's good advice and I did the exact same thing. I think I led dps in every Cloak Tower run I did at that level, except once, when a rogue managed to take top spot. It takes a lot of work compared to other classes though and hopefully you don't have a repel/knockback happy wizard with you or you'll…
  • You can get the 2hand spiked club from the first dungeon in tower district, so I assume there are others randomly scattered about.
  • Yeah, you have to actually log in with a character and go to the zen shop. It will not work from character select screen.

  • It starts out kind of slow, I'll admit. I wasn't all that engaged in it myself until a few episodes in, when they actually start fleshing out characters more, like Floki. I love that lanky ******* now. The show ramps up and gets more interesting, the more you watch it. As for names, I've seen a lot of Ragnar myself, though…
  • A lot of people make that mistake. Being a ranger has nothing to do with using ranged weapons. A ranger is a person who covers a range of land for whatever reason. He traverses an open range and is typically a warden of said expanse of land. However, many are also hunters, and thus use hunting weapons in their arsenal,…
