So does that mean we'll get 4 elf races (5 including drow)? Now, I'll say that I like (even love) elves but I think that'd be going a bit too far. Or does that mean that the Elf we currently have is a Wood or Wild Elf, and we just need Eladrin?

I already own the Guardian pack and am thinking of also purchasing the Hero pack. Not just because of the drow delay, but for the extra character slots (that I will purchase anyways in the future if I don't buy them now) and the astral diamonds. I felt that $60 was enough to pay for now. That's the same price as any new XBOX or PC game, so I didn't care to spend it. I'll have to see more of the game to be willing to spend more than that. $200 for purely digital items is a tad outrageous if you ask me.

I wasn't happy about not having the drow because I can't play my main for 2 months, but I never had any intention of abandoning it. What I'm worried about its the "at least 60 days" thing. If this goes on too long and I can't play my character then I likely WILL leave.

I'll have multiple alts. Since I can't play my main for 60 days (a female drow wizard), I'll likely play either a tiefling or elven rogue and a female dwarf great weapon fighter. I'd also like to make a warlock. If they ever release Eladrin as a Race and Paladin as a class, I'll make a female eladrin paladin.

If it were possible to make an elf that looks like a drow I'd probably do it. Drow have greyish skin and red eyes which to my knowledge were not available for the elf. I wouldn't mind doing what you are saying if they hadn't had drow in the list of races since I have been aware of this game (for many months at least).
