Well, they can disable moving Zen out of Neverwinter until it's out of Beta so that's simple enough. The whole process just doesn't provide any reason to be loyal to their family of games, when the entire concept of Zen could do just that.
So Zen is not universal at all. They might as well call it Star Trek Online Zen, Neverwinter Zen, Some_Other_Game Zen and so on? If I could move Zen earned in one PW game to another PW game, I would be encouraged to stay in the PW stable of games. As it is, if I get tired of one game, I might just as well try some other…
No, it's not rare at all. This bug is why players deliberately stunlock and kill other players right at the end of a match, on purpose. You die on appearing in Protector's Enclave and accrue injuries as a result.
/agree Wipe it. Anything short of that is meaningless. This is a rare case where the community in general is actually in favor of a wipe. Seize upon that opportunity and do it.
If they opened up a new server and never merged it into the others, they would still need to insulate its Astral Diamond-to-Zen Exchange so that the polluted infinite Astral Diamonds from the current servers aren't used to buy infinite Zen, thus infecting the new server via its Exchange. What really needs to happen is that…
Well, they can wipe and then credit accounts with Zen purchased with real money. Everyone would lose their character levels and items, but wouldn't lose their purchased Zen. Astral Diamond-purchased Zen would of course be wiped.
There is no way to permanently ban anyone. It's the curse of free-to-play games. The game economy is permanently wrecked. Poking about in the database to try and track the infinite Astral Diamonds floating around is pointless. It's serious enough to warrant a wipe. They called it Open Beta. I know they said there wouldn't…
The 4 piece set bonus for the Control Wizard PvP set still does nothing after this patch. This is the Gladiator Mage's Set consisting of the following 4 pieces: Gladiator Mage's Cap Gladiator Mage's Tunic Gladiator Mage's Gloves Gladiator Mage's Slippers * The bonus says "Powers in your Spell Mastery slot cool down 25%…
* Does the game out right prohibit you from wearing it outside of pvp? or * It is just not well itemized for pve so it's not all that great of an idea (but you can still wear it if you wanted to)
Are those #'s the amount of Glory (the currency) that you earn, or just a point total for some other purpose? (I'm just interested in grinding out Glory as a currency).
Do you get pvp Glory points only from pvp events, or do you earn them from pvp kills, winning, losing, just participating in pvp, or some other mechanism....?
If you play without spending any real money whatsoever, then it will supply you with solid entertainment value. It's basically something fun to play until Elder Scrolls Online comes out.
* Do you mean Sudden Storm? * I saw a video of a 50 Control Wizard using Shield from Beta Weekend 4, and it absorbed a good bit of damage, but only one hit and then it had to wait out the required 5 seconds before it would do anything (at all) again. Is it still that way?
