Outside of them coming in the Feywild module, no I haven't seen a firm date for release. I personally don't see a few months as being too far off, but that is my personal view. Though I agree that they should have been in the 20th release. I don't have any doubts that they wont be expensive but at least they are bought…
Wont have to wait to long for the tomes at least :) I hate that Drow is even a playable race before Dragonborn and Eladrin. I don't mind Drow being a playable race at all though. Just the order of release. I figure they should have released the 4e core book races before touching on the supplements. Though if I had my way…
I'd wager it is because originally creating the items wasn't free and maintaining the game also has a decent price tag. The initial price of any item is = $/hr x man hours. They then have to make back the initial cost and have it yield a profit on that item. Without profit there is no point. Doing things for cost is bad…
The 5 different class party buff is interesting but I could see it going badly. Devs start to design content with the buff in mind which then dictates how parties have to form up in order to succeed. 4E Druids don't heal, they are a controller class like wizard. The Leader classes are Shaman for primal, Bard for arcane,…
Honest answer, you either find one that you dislike the least or wait. Ranger and Warlock are rumored and hinted at so if they interest you a bit better then you may not have to wait too long. But for Paladin and Druid I think you'll have to come back quite some time later. :(
Some people just prefer form over function. I personally dislike divine classes so I tend to never play them even in PnP. Now throw in Psionic or Primal leaders and I'd be much more interested in rolling a healer. I think the game needs both classes and more paragon paths. Though I'd say that more classes would be my more…
Nah, the buff spells would make the classes godly if they had any prep time before battle. Cleric had something called the holy trinity. I believe the spells were divine favor, divine power and righteous might. and Druid you could make one of the most broken things. Was a kobold named Punpun. you pretty much end up with…
The Holy Avenger would be neat and all but I would prefer to see some variation in weapons outside the sword and board for defenders and I have always liked flails and the weapon gets very little love in MMOs it seems.
Only issues I ever really have with dueling is when people complain about class balance in a 1v1 setting and when you don't have a toggle to auto opt out of duels.
In no particular order the classes I'd like to see are: Rageblood Barbarian who uses polearms, Swarm Druid, Earth Warden armed with a warpick, Avenging Paladin wielding a shield and flail, Malediction Invoker, Valorous Bard with a songblade on his hip and a lute/lyre on their back, Shielding Swordmage, Telepathic Psion,…
I wonder how hard it would be to make it so that when you enter a dungeon it takes note of what classes are present in the party and increases the drop chance of loot for them and with a smaller chance for any of the other class equipment to drop.
An interesting healer pet could be the Packmate Homonculus. Throws around health potions as its heal power. Doesn't actually use up potions or anything. It would just be its animation.
Want weird censorship. White Knight Chronicles censors words that start with "con". And to make it more amusing they have a set of pre-made messages and one is "congrats" that gets censored when you use it.
XD I'm guessing he still hates them but saw the trend towards micro and decided to adapt or die. And as for the high prices from the store I personally attribute that to the AD conversion. I figure they made prices high in anticipation of people using Ad to cover 1/2 the cost of large ticket items. Just my thoughts on it…
I didn't mention anything about Tolkien. I was saying that Dark Elves and Drow themselves were taken from Norse Mythology. Therefore when other games use Dark Elves they aren't necessarily drawing their inspiration from Drow.
Dark Elves http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_elf Just want to argue this point a bit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%B6kk%C3%A1lfar So more accurately Dark Elves from other games and Forgotten Realms trace their roots back to old myths. Like most fantasy games do :)
