I hope there's a way to link achievements in the chat, because it will be the only way to judge how decent a player is before t3 comes out (which, i hope, will be bind on pickup)
I think that, as long as you take damage feats and a damage paragon path (and maybe you get +power equipment), the CW will be definitely able to deal at least some damage. Maybe not as much damage as a true ranged striker, but at least some... even without giving up too much controlling. We'll see which will be the optimal…
Swordmage is a defender, yes, and basically the most "pure" one. I think it's going to be put in the game quite soon, since it's one of the staple builds in FR.
Technically no: druid is mostly a controller, but it has also a leader build. But there are a couple builds which are really sturdy, and were used as off-defender quite often. I'm talking about Guardian Druid (pre-nerf) and the sentinel druid animal companion, which, at low level, is really good if DM takes the bait, since…
This is actually the reason why i didn't buy and founder's pack. I don't know what to expect from this game, since the last two big failures in the last year (D3 and GW2), then i'll walk into the game, as we say in Italy, "with lead's feet" (slowly and cautiously :D)
Honestly i don't think i'm going to pay more than 15 euro per month, even considering that i have "expensive tastes" like A.Velazquez said in the podcast. I like to play the game as ftp, paying for the occasional item. Furthemore, a subscription plan indirectly forces me to play the game even when i don't want, starting…
Hehe unfortunately warlocks are "just" demon dabblers :D Psionic classes in 4e are Psions, Battlemind, Monks (yes, they are psionic in 4e) and Ardent. Probably what you had in mind as "psionic power user" was the Psion, which is basically (and thematically, since it uses intelligence and earn powers by "learing them") a…
There are lots and lots of non-leaders with leader secondary: Thaneborn Barbarian, Virtous Paladin, Preservoker, WB Warden, Essential Druid, Witch... just to name a few of them. While classes depends on role, just adding a couple of leading powers can add substantial help to party members.
This will be probably made easier by paragon path features and powers for specialized tanks. T Anyway, as quorforged and unjustblade said, staying in the fire, even with the shield raised, is just plain dumb.
Well, actually the Devoted Cleric we were able to try in this Beta is a Leader: it was not limited to healing and dealing damage, but it could buff damage and defense of allies (especially with dailies).
Hardly. The guardian fighter is a completely different concept, since it doesn't even require affiliation to a code of conduct. Warlock is a completely different thing. It's a spellcaster that gets power from a deal with a powerful overworldly entity. The wizard is "merely" a scholar.
It should be flame strike or firestorm (probably the first one). Thanks, but what i wanted to know was the difference between divine charged and non charged powers.
