I have no issues and I don't consider it clunky. Nor did your post seem to get attention at the time it was originally posted, so I'd assume it's not a top issue in many people's minds. Really, if people want a traditional MMO they should play a traditional MMO. This game is entirely designed around this combat system.
I guess a person should simply have to adapt to a new game style simply because they want to play it. It seems like a weird question, like we're all entitled to game preferences we want. That's how this game works, that's all it is.
I'm not trying to berate. I see it as a positive thing that the system has been switched up, rather than following the usual MMO mold that we've all come to expect. It just takes some adjustment. Change can be good, just give it a chance.
To add to what I was saying, let's look at the mounts for instance. They look awesome, I love them. But I'm a poor college student, I can't justify so much on one mount. But if it was less, I could get one for my main and I'd be alright paying for mounts for my alts too. I'd be getting more out of my money, I could justify…
I'd personally buy more if the prices were lower, and I think I'd end up spending the same amount (if not more) in the long run. I understand why they have high prices and that they have to run the game, but I just can't justify spending so much on one item.
I figured that was the case. There's always elitists in every crowd, I suppose, no exceptions. I don't know if people realize it turns off potential newcomers, but then again maybe it's a response to the non-roleplayers who grief. I personally love PvP, and my boyfriend loves CoD, and we're both interested in joining a…
So, I've been wanting to try out roleplaying. I'm a bit alarmed with the superiority complex some roleplayers seem to have though... like people who don't roleplay in MMOs are somehow less, kids, or only play COD. (Is playing COD an insult or something?) Last night I saw some people talking in the roleplay channel about…
I don't think encounters slots should change. The essence of the combat system really shouldn't change for pvp, even if it's just for the pvp match or whatnot. I'd like to see; - more pvp gear (low level pvp gear? for those leveling through pvp mainly.) - pvp titles (swtor had a great system of this.) - pvp achievements…
You're amazing then. Colorblindness is rather common, there's no reason not to accommodate it. I don't know how common missing limbs are. I like the slider idea for adjusting the DANGER color yourself, personally. Would that be difficult to implement though?
I didn't even use the word beta. I said people are meant to report bugs and not exploit them. That's a general rule, I think. I'm not even touching the beta/soft launch debate.
It actually should come down to what the person playing the female character wants the character to wear, and not what lonely perverts want the character to wear. =)
Even if this guy isn't colorblind, I'm sure there's other people who are colorblind having an issue. Point still stands; that red may be rather hard for people to see. We need another option. (And that point can be taken without a guy walking in and accusing the OP. It's not like he's gathering funds for his chemo. He just…
Yes, they need a colorblind option. It's obvious, they'll get to it. I imagine it's a pain in the ***, but you can kinda see why it wasn't top priority, just doesn't hurt as many people. Hopefully it won't take long this to be solved for you and others. Don't worry about the guy was trolling you. I hope he was trolling and…
Though, compared to other MMOs I think they've done really good on this so far. I was pretty impressed with how tough I could get my half orc to look! haha It's moving in the right direction, I'm happy for that.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I just tend to imagine my characters more like Eowyn from the LOTR movie, up against the Witch King, still pretty but bad ***. Choice is what everyone agrees on in any case. =) We all imagine our characters differently.
Can we have the option to have a bit of realism when it comes to armor though? I'm not screaming that HAMSTER clothes should be done away with, I just want options. The double standard with armor in RPGs bothers me, but I get that it doesn't bother everyone. I just want choice. O.O Yeah, this is…
