As a cleric in pvp I am more useful than someone AFK and only slightly more useful than a bot. Is this working as intended? I currently do not see any reason to have a cleric on your team anymore unless it is to be the one that runs around solo point capping. Healing is not a factor when I am unable to survive an encounter…
Pros: Looks great sounds great, gets us away from being a heal bot, makes clerics fun. Cons: Almost positive this will be soon nerfed into the stone-age making these builds worthless.
You are exactly right here, but the rest is flat out wrong. Its not the loss of 5s in AS that makes clerics suck, its the other AS nerf that changes the heal and adds the clerics righteousness into the equation that makes them suck.
And then what? Add 15 seconds onto your life while giving up a point? It would be nice if every character came with their own pocket CW, but that is not relevant. I know if my GF had a pocket CW, he would rule the world. Which by the way is what I am now going to exclusively play in pvp. They were fun and dominating before…
Im pretty much done with my cleric in pvp. As I said in a different thread, we are really nothing but a wasted spot in pvp now. I used to at least be able to turtle a bit waiting for me team to arrive, can't even do that now. I have no chance in an even fight, and 2vs1 in our favor, I know i'm probably going to go down…
I cant tell if you are trolling or really having a problem with your reading comprehension here. You cant buy a horse with Celestial Coins and you can only have a max of 7 at any given time. Ardent coins can be hoarded.
Clerics are just wasting a spot in PVP right now. You would almost be better off having a bot on your team then a paper target. Free kills for everyone.
I made this exact same mistake but with my damaging abilities early on. I saw those numbers and I thought "this is a killer at will, way overpowered, why isn't everyone using it????". Then I realized if the numbers were actually hitting that hard, mobs would be down much quicker. Plus the multiples always increased evenly.…
Yeah that is what I was looking for. I have been in matches lately that it gets dispelled as soon as I cast it everytime. So there has to be multiple classes that can dispel it.
By channeled I am assuming you mean while in divine mode? Strange that it doesn't hit for more. I have never really paid attention to what it hits for I will have to take a look to see for myself.
I believe if your thinking in terms of PVE you can count it as 1 more cast per fight because of the more structured nature. But in the chaos of PVP it gives you extra 25% storage to have at your disposal when needed. There is a huge difference there.
/signed. Both are utterly worthless and I have quit using them completely, even in PVP with the added movement ability. The bad thing for me is that I hold down my mouse buttons while out of divinity since it spam casts them. So I find myself somtimes wasting divinity when I forget to switch or just double click the switch…
This is pretty much the direction I took my cleric in and am loving the playstyle. I never understood other guides reluctance to use Sacred Flame. Sure you're not going to melt faces, but it does what it should, hits fast and quickly builds Divine Power. The extra HPs is a bonus. I tried BotS but is simply drove me nuts to…
