Just curious, especially for those with multiple characters.
How many characters do you have in total and of those, how many do you plan to level to 70? And of those that you plan to level to 70, what is your current preferred path?
Level to 70 mainly via
- vigilant quests?
- leadership/invocation?
- pvp?
- other means (e.g. foundry/dungeons)?

stop whining about vigilance quests, its not like you have to repeat each quest 10+ times, much better than the campaigns with daily quests
run them in a few days and be done with it
Consider (for the moment), the gameplay is terrible due to mod6. Why should I do any combat content? ANY? I save so much grind, and frustration.
Just going to pray and craft, only 30 min a day wasted. Maybe in the future they will make the game fun to play again. I'm hoping so. TIll then gaming budget will go toward fun games.
Tbh, what he said.
I was planning to level more of them, but it is just not worth the time and effort to get it there, yet. Maybe later, after mod 7.
( Note : I did all of the 16x3 / 4 zones quests ) There is some nice blue stuff but not worth anything except transmuting Alliance equip to look like that, after you get it by doing T1 ) Like earth node armor and wind..etc.. )
Plus i am far too busy trying to figure out what to do with my main char. right now.
Trying to do T2's is breaking my nerves enough.
I feel your pain man...when I crawled my GF up to 70 WITH the vigils I was burned out hard.

1). Is SW more dps or tank based?
2). Yes. I am panzer!
3). Get ACT if you want to celebrate your epeen.

As soon as I hit the Drowned shore...I kinda parked him there.
Even if I level him to 70 there's no way in the world I'll grind as much as it is needed now to get him up to spec in comparison to what I had done pre mod 6 with my main.
I grinded the hell out of it but its nowhere near that timespan now.
It feels like I have to do 100x grinding to equal my main toon.
So no point.
Invocation it is, and we'll see after a few mods If I'm still around.
1: Its a slog even if your only doing 4 quests a play session.
2: The HEs are insane and not even close to worth the rewards to do.
3: Half the mini dungeons dont have chests at the end as a reward for your hard work.
Cistern is a great example. Boss oneshot nukes you with a masssive AoE fire bomb. Has waves of dudes punching you in the face and can take 10 minutes to do just the fight. Nothing but trash drops and a portal when you finally finish it.
4: Talk about anti climactic. Ok i finished my last vigilance task and here is an artifact weapon. Ok rad, but where is the story conclusion? Where is the dungeon and boss fight (in this case bosses)? It all just felt so empty and meaningless. also, 2 levels you can do on repeat with Minsc, That accounts for story now days? The whole **** thing feels like an early alpha.
Im becoming jaded. The more I play this mod the more I realize how broken the game is and it makes me very sad. Especially sad for my wife to miss out on all the great things of mod5 and her first steps into neverwinter are tainted by this hot mess.

I am now working on my pseudo-main (CW), but still in the Drowned Shore.
Depending upon when the next mod is released, I may be able to get one more through the grindfest of Mod 6, which will be my HR.
So, the answer is 2 or 3.

I would suggest putting your main through the grindfest to complete the 3 vigilance quests in each of the new areas so you can get your free artifact main-hand and off-hand weapons. Just a thought/suggestion.

I HATE they gimped tod dailies. HATE , HATE HATE....
cryptic is nothing but slapping player-bases down these days.. on every occasion they can manage.. Can you think the last time something was giving back to us, its been one take away after another.. I hate the first two zones, I can tolerate spin-ward, its new at least and you get something for doing it.
Also.. WHO was the designer who THOUGHT it was a good ideal to put hes in these zones.. gawd poeple.. no one does them, there is zero reason to do any of them, waste of time for a r5 enchant.
I leveled my main by doing all of the vigilance quests. Never again. The rest are leveling by campaign quests, invoking, and leadership. I ran 1 alt through Spinward Rise to get the mainhand artifact, but I don't plan on even that for my other alts. It feels grindy, and the limit of getting only 4 quests at a time is too painful.
Cryptic's efforts to increase stability by reducing server load are working.
By the time she was done my 3 other played toons were all eligible just from invoking so they did the same without even setting foot in the other zones. Although I did have to spend some time leveling my combat hr in the fire zone once I heard about double refinement since I wanted him to have the weapon.
Now pretty much all of my 8 toons are either at 70 or pretty close so it's moot. Might take my semi-motballed CW into Spinward but meh.
Kinda sad that the new zones aren't even worth farming, imo. I'd rather run DR lairs, WOD and IWD because at least that gives me stuff with an immediate return towards progression. Sure they're great for leveling but once you hit the level cap I fail to see the point.
Why so few? My alts are farmer alts, they have no need to level to 70 right away and I don't want to do the vigilance tasks on them anyway. I intend to level one of my two paladins to level 70 in order to get the sigil artifact, but I'm in no hurry. If I don't need to level any other alts to 70, I'm not going to bother. They'll hit 70 on their own eventually anyway from Leadership and invocation.

Common HE's in Drowned Shore are typically soloable, they drop R5 enchants (usually) as a reward. If you have a lot of resources, this isn't a big deal, but if you can't afford to buy RP or don't want too, hitting DS, clearing all the common HEs then changing instances and doing it again isn't a terrible way to farm RP (you get lots of other stuff too, mostly gold fodder so you can buy more pots and heal kits, plus R5 drops from mobs).
If you have gotten your gear up to the point you can run IWD without too much headache, it's worth doing those dailies, but the HE's in IWD and WoD are hard (if not impossible) to solo unless you really have good gear. You can always bring a team, but that's more of a pain in the butt to farm since you have to split the drops somehow... The other areas are sort of one-shot. YOu do the dailies and lairs and then... that's it. At least with HEs you can solo, you can keep doing it for as long as you can stomach farming. (for me, that's about 5 minutes... lol)

I leveled 2 characters doing all 4 EE zones, 2 more just did a little Fiery Pit and all of Spinward, and the rest hit 70 from invoking/leadership -- not on purpose, really, but because of double-XP week.
I dragged the 7 alts I actively play through Spinward Rise to get their MHs, and I'll probably do the same when I get around to creating an OP -- but there is merit in just crafting the MH if you have multiple alts. At current AH prices it's about 80k AD, and it would save a lot of mental wear-and-tear.
I found SpinRise can be done in a tolerable fashion with two chars ping-ponging through the fast & easy quests: Tomes of Air, hitman jobs, and the 2 lair quests in one run. Collect quests over 2h, run them, switch chars, rinse, repeat three times per Vigilance block, plus one more quest. Done in one weekend or four to five evenings. Still highly repetitive, but at least rather fast.
Not so dissimilar to DD running, somehow, IMHO...
...also probably faster than grinding the crafting components.
