Blacksmith level 40 companion Bugged

after upgrading blacksmith companion to level 40 orange legendary status it losses the active bonus ,and no longer even has an active bonus listed on the pet ,active companion contributions also not showing blacksmith active bonus !

the blacksmith active bonus used to work when it was purple quality so i just wasted loads by upgrading it !
Please can you fix this?

    One way to resolve these issues is to use the free respec granted to all players. Open your powers page, click respec button and use the Free Respec provided. If you do not have a free respec or have already used yours, please reach out to our support team at support.arcgames.com

    It may just be because I'm not aware that this is a workaround for this, but how does respecing your character fix a bug on a companion?

    that would make sense, either that or someone isn't reading threads before copy+pasting responses.

    Latest game patch Blacksmith now has an active bonus back but it is still wrong,
    Now my level 40 blacksmith says the active bonus applies to summoned companion as long as the companion is active but it is supposed to apply to me as long as companion is active,even the blacksmith in zen market still has the original active bonus apply to charactor as long as companion is active.
    attached a screen shot of my level 40 blacksmith and one of the level 1 zen market blacksmith.
    I only bought the blacksmith for the active bonus and if level 40 changes it to only apply to itself and not my charactor then it was a complete waste of millions of AD!

    Mod 6 so buggy even GM's fake support bot is broken. I would cry if I was not already laughing.

    I haven't seen the blacksmith active proc once on my GF since the new mod and mine is only at epic. I use ACT as well and nothing shows up for Forge Fire currently not even 0 damage. Looking at the description in the pics, did they change the way this companion works and not bother posting it in the patch notes???? I haven't looked at the description of mine but will check later.

    Anyway I tested with the renegade evoker (epic) just to see if it was something with how reflect damage procs are calculated and that active bonus is working fine as near as I can tell.

    Just to add to what bronto111 posted, left is epic. right is Zen store.

    Upgrading makes the active worse apparently.
