I think that HR roots are still not as bad as people seem to think it is even when you have root effect aplied to you you are still able to attack which means you are able to counter it (unless you good enough and just look the other way lol)
HR stealth last only a few secs and it has a pretty nice cooldown to it when CW get CCed by roots they will always go for the choke or repel which is enough CC to get them out of the roots as for GWF they still got unstopable and good GWFs don't seem to have much of a problem with it GFs will jump and prone/stun which has a pretty good range (no idea the name of the encounter never played GF sorry ) DCs can CC or literaly just tank the damage SW even if weak honestly they do need some love but they can still counter it i've seen it not really sure about the encounter powers but w/e so thing about root is that most people and the new pvpers always stop attacking when they get rooted and don't really try do anything for the most part
won't start talking about rogues cause well pretty sure people know whats broken , but think that even if root gets "fixed" HR's are still going to stealth and root you so might aswell start learning how to counter it now

That's not always the case. You are actually telling us that yes roots cannot be dodged but it can be countered. Well that's not the point of this topic. We're not talking about the immunity skills against it too. The roots are not dodgeable that's what we are talking about here. Also yes people can attack while rooted but if you are rooted far away from the hr and if you are meele class you cannot do anything if you are out of immunity or if you don't have any immunity to begin with. In these cases HRs can shoot you freely away from your location while you are enjoying the root. I'm not saying roots shouldn't work or roots should be taken away. This would be stupid, HRs need rooting. But this skill is buggy and in many cases it is impossible dodge it. I just want a fix, not the skill to be taken away, so it should be dodgeable.
I want to point out to HR roots. I'm a Trickster Rogue and no matter how hard i dodge or dodge constantly, I get rooted anyways. Why can't I dodge HR roots, seriously? Is this intended or a bug? If this is intended, it is ridicilous because I cannot even move without using ITC and dodging it is impossible. There is no defense against this and it is really senseless. If this is a bug please fix it as soon as possible. The tool tip on the HR skills doesn't even mention something line "undodgeable" so I believe this is not intended.

OK... It was exciting pug vs pug, xD I'm coming with other 19-20k HR PVP spec (~40k HP) to their base (after opposite team is melt); the 20-21k TR jumps at us, trying to KILL us both with his megaSoDDDDDD. Then he gets ****ed... really it's weird... 2 trappers poor sobs vs MEGAOP TR. Then he sits at spawnpoint crying to the whole zone about OP UNDODGEABLE ROOTZ, OMFG... He even called us HUNTARDS, xD

You can dodge roots... works sometimes.. can't timeit all the time... but there is a delay for damage and roots. I don't know if this is intended... but I hope this gets fixed. They just gonna cc you all more once you get trapped and the damage is insane for a class with soo much cc

Bah, CWs are also op. In other words, they are balanced. GF and SW need a lot of love, sw much more so. There you have parity because real balance is not cost-efficient.
Once you are rooted (when you dodged the damage), you can't dodge the next attack.
I don't get how these people claim it is good/balanced.
I play both TR and HR if you have a decent setup and know how to play your toon"s abilities correctly then you are a force to be reckoned with. In PVP my hunter ranger was handed his head for several pvp matches but as GS went up and I learned to play The Toon. I began to survive more and more. There will always be some one either faster luckier or better than you but being competitive I prefer that. It makes me work harder and a better player so I hope they leave they abilities along for all the classes .Just be thankful that you respawn after you die instead of like some PUGS dungeons you just sit at the altar til its over.. To over come these encounter powers I play more with others on the team and once Im caught and killed I remember how and work out the best way to get around it. There is a way around the rooting and there are a few TRs who have figured it out and I lose to them once in a while in PVP. So its not something to fix just pay your dues and practice. Not once have I blamed any one in PvP for my loss but me, and I also take my wins with pride because I accomplished overcoming the other decimating powers of the competitors . PVP definitely teaches us where we are weakest.

You mean like you been doing for the last module, and dont forget to tell the gf,gwf and sw that exe is easy to dodge and only nabs falls for it or that lashing is easy to dodge and if you die to it you need to l2p like you done so many times.

Vengeance's Pursuit is highly build/load-out specific. Most useful if you are utilizing Deft Strike and Hateful Knives as well. CWs hate it. It would near equal ItC if it ACTUALLY WORKED PROPERLY. **** Devs need to fix it. It is certainly not better than ItC.
