Ah feck, that would explain it LOL but a fair number of other folks made the same mistake Doh!
I just checked all the media to see if the date was posted incorrectly anywhere and couldn't find any mistakes. Dunno why multiple people got it wrong, but since nobody who knew the actual date would have bothered visiting the Twitch page, that's why *everyone* present was mistaken.
Since they have put on it their first post ", or other features coming with Module 6" I'll ask here, will there be a gear score balance in PvP. Because as a lvl 60 player with no time to grind all best gear i can't play 1 PvP because all other players have much higher gear score then me. So please add gear score in PvP party menagment.
Gear Score is going away and is being replaced with "average item level." This is still being worked on.
The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.
I agree with the question about a new race added with the new class, as it has been traditionally co-dependent. They needn't tell us which race is, but a yes or no would be nice.
I was really thinking they'd add Genasi, but I'm scared after I met those **** aquatic elven NPCs in the new area. As a matter of fact, aren't those elves supposed to only live underwater, with their whole 'look at me, I have gills everywhere' ?

Umm, not really. They had new races with Sharandar, new class with Dread Ring. Dragonborn and warlock being released at the same time was pretty much coincidence. That's not enough of a history to say there's a pattern, other than they've been released independently of each other just as often as not.

My memory is fuzzy, but wasn't the ranger also released with the moon/sun elves?
I feel like an opal once a week might be *a bit* OP, but I certainly agree that the RP drops should be more abundant and better. As a level 60, if I get a peridot from a coffer or skill node, as I often do, I feed it to one of my many artifacts, and it makes no visible difference. I think the solution might be rather than just give us the 10K opal, maybe up the drop rate on all RP, and up it a bit more on the nicer ones, like aquas and sapphires.
Dragon hoard enchantments (Tyranny of Dragons campaign task) are meant for that, i have 4 slotted in utility slots on my main CW character and thus get refining items dropped for 4% of my numerous kills, and doing so i get that black opal let's say once a week and get tens of peridots, lesser and minor resonance stones, aquamarines, etc, from basically killing mobs.

I know exactly why I fecked up, it is info that I really want to hear, so focused more on the time (Which is what I usually forget and miss things because of... hey, I'm old and senile, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :P) than the date, I broke the cardinal rule, I assumed when I should have double checked.
Still I'll be there tonight (Unless something comes up)
Hey all, I've done my best to collect as many relevant questions as possible, sometimes combining two similar questions into one for the sake of getting as much in during the hour we have as possible. I'll be posting the archived video here and on our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) afterwards for the people who aren't able to join us.
I am wondering as to what sort of additions or changes to the guild system we can expect to see when module 6 releases, as so far guilds are only implemented within Gauntlgrym.
Will there be any consideration to improving the mechanics of the refinement process and/or improving the rate that artifacts and artifact gear can be increased?
Missed the Live stream again. I know, I should be following social media more closely. But - I signed up for email notifications for pwe, STO, and NW twitch. I get "X event has gone live" emails from STO at the START of their livestreams, but only get "Neverwinter has gone live with 'Offline for Now'"
emails on your Twitch streams?
It's so frustrating! Am I the only one who has this problem? I am subscribed with exactly the same settings; it seems like maybe NW twitch has a setting announcing the end of the stream?
Paladins sound very cool. I also like that you can't be a tank +healer at the same time. When people can do dps, heal and tank it makes for lack of team work. You guys are on the right path!
doesnt seem like it im afraid.. that paladin makes my healing dc seem like nothing
Devotion (Healer) Paladins will *replace* DCs in PvP and PvE Queues: if you get a healer Paladin you should not get a DC, and same for Tanking Paladins: they replace GFs in Queue. So queues choose a "healer" which is a DC *or* a Devotion Paladin and they choose a tank which is a GF *or* a Protection Paladins (one healer and one tank) theoretically from level 30 onward.
In short you get one OR the other, not both unless you have a pre-made party.
This was made clear on the Livestream.
Here is how they explained it: it's based on the Paragon path the player chooses: Devotion (Healer) or Protection (Tank) will then place the player into the "type" category of healer or tank. The Queue system is able to know which paragon you chose and therefore know which you are: a healer or tank and assign you accordingly. It also means there can be multiple healers (DCs and Paladins/GFs and Paladins) in the skirmishes and queues uo to the Level 30 stuff (when you choose a paragon path).
They also said this is a NEW system that only works for Paladins for now (the Paladin class is the "field test" for this new tech) - so this tech doesn't work on existing classes at this time. They never said it ever will, either - so that's an unknown.

OK caught the stream.... gotta say the OP looks VERY cool, though I am going to need TWO slots because the tank and healer paths are so radically different that I am going to treat it as two classes rolled into one.
Very nice mechanics on both sides of it, however we need the other half of the equation to be able to judge, put to rest peoples worrys about the effect of GF's and HC's.... We need to know any changes in what they have currently AND in what they are getting 61-70!
With each it is they, not the OP who is supposed to be the specialist at what they do and the OP does have some VERY nice looking tools in both areas.... I did ask about this during the stream but you (Akro) weren't looking at the chat as much as you usually do when you stream solo LOL....
Whilst I'd like to see the GF get a boost to his mitigation, especially after seeing the mitigation on the tank path of the OP (Though the damage mitigation buff to any nearby party members particularly fits that style of paladin IMO.... not looking for the GF to have that!), I consider it more important to strongly increase the GF's threat generation.... from what I saw, currently I'd say, without knowing the changes to the GF, that the tank OP will have a much easier time getting and holding threat than the supposedly tank specialist, the GF.
Either way I won't be getting rid of My GF (The friends who I run with would lynch me, they find him a very useful party member!) but I would be a tad disappointed for him to be replaced as the best tank class, given that is what he is designed to be!
Same general issue with the Cleric but of course different specifics. The at will heal especially backed with the ability to make single target have an additional less powerful area effect.Whilst great for the healing OP, does sort of put the HC on the back foot, let alone the rest of what we saw tonight. Specifically the ability to revive in combat and at a slight range and quicker.... seems far more cleric than paladin, not saying OP shouldn't have it, it does suit the OP too, just not as much unless the HC is given a similar ability but with maybe a greater % heal effect?
At some point soon I'll take a look at getting on the dev server and see how things play out hands on, give feedback on there. But wanted to jot down me initial thoughts whilst they where fresh.
A couple of things that I was very glad to hear...... conformation that (As all new classes should be (IMO)) the OP WILL be free, and with all the upcoming changes, ALL toons will get a free respec
atm just calmly waiting for the preview patch to drop

Yes, quite a few people. It was ranked rather high on the thread asking about what class people wanted to see next.

Moon/Sun Elves were released with Sharandar. HR was released with Dread Ring IIRC. Moon elves were pay-race, the Sun elves were the freebie.

that'd be really bad *** if it does come out like this week :P
Cool, thanks a lot, I was mistakenly under the impression the 2 were related. Then we might not get a new race after all, bummer.
