New promotion for the weekend of 12/12 to 12/15

OK I just saw the promo.. and i have a question with regards to the rewards...

Are these account unlocks or single character unlocks?

Ive messed up in the past and claimed stuff on wrong toons.. so I would like to make sure first.

    Am I the only one who sees this promo as a reward to cheaters who have millions of AD accrued from the various economic bugs we have experienced? Resonators made some folks so wealthy they see a program like this as reward for their cheating. I for one will not participate and if they keep up this behaviour I will be seeking a new game to play.

    The bear mount is clearly stated to be single claim.

    Per all promotions with similar reward structure, the title will likely be account-wide, but the Vanguard pack will be single claim.

    The companions, that is an excellent question. The Storm Rider is normally an account-unlock... one they offer so frequently it's sometimes surprising not everyone has it yet. But I really, seriously do not see them doing an account-unlock Aranea, no way, no how.

    Yeah, if the Aranea is Claimable on all Characters on your Account, then it will be a NICE bonus.
    As they did Account Wide Stormriders in the past, I wouldn't consider it out of the question..............

    I guess the price tag is no less than some of the packs that include account-wide purple companions, but it still seems far more generous than prior promotions with the Powries and such, so I don't think it would be.

    This needs clarification ASAP. Last purple pet promotion we didn't receive any clarification until after the promo ended....

    For every 15,000 Zen spent, not only will you receive all the rewards below, you will also receive the High Forest Bear mount. **This mount can only be obtained once per account.
    "For every" and "once" seems contradictory.

    The High Forest Bear was an account-unlock, and _may_ be an account-unlock here. The "For every" _may_ be vestigial copy-paste from a similar promo. Don't count on it though.

    Yes, I was referring to the Aranea companion.

    It would be great if it is an account unlock.

    I hate Neverwinter Zen promos and everything they stand for.

    $5 - A title, a little bit of bonus exp, and 4 rank 4 enchantments
    $30 - A green companion that a lot of people already have and isn't even very good
    $60 - A rare lockbox companion that isn't even listed as BTA, BTC, or BOE/whether can be claimed multiple times
    $90 - A CHANCE to win an epic mount(which looks like a slightly different version of the Armored Bear)
    $150 - Guaranteed epic mount

    These prices are really stupid. They don't give anyone but whales motivation to spend anything extra, which is a really bad business model. What makes it worse is we've been saying the same **** since day 1, but they just don't seem to get it.

    I have the High Forest Bear. Its from the German Neverwinter release box. Its account wide when I got the promo code and looks like Two30 just said what I was going to say... XD

    You'd be surprised how many ppl will go for that bear. Obviously devs want zen price capped again, that's what this event is about.

    I'm not surprised.. I ordered my code from german amazon site and paid way too much.. so yah.. totally not surprised =P

    it's simple. you get 1 bear for $150 of zen.
    you can only get it on one character, NOT account wide

    Well, they need to completely revamp companions before I enter another promo. My cockatrice is dying to mosquitoes. It's not helping lol... (even if I'm dying for an Aranea companion...)

Actually that's a good promotion, particularly to new players or alt account characters that don't have a mount. The problem is with Mod 5, there is nothing of value except the stupid RP.

    Cryptic is probably beginning to realize these insane artifact gear and RP craps are hurting their actual zen shop sales.

    Just for comparison: this is the Heavily Armored Trained Bear, and this is the new mount.

    That's literally a recolored/redesigned (same 3d model) version of the armored bear.

    Maybe or even likely. Still, the event is limited to the weekend so unless there are some big economic changes over the next few days teh ratio will most likely go down again when it is over. So lets see if I can sell any Zen I have for 500 over the weekend.

    As for the Question at hand: it's always best to presume all items are BoE (One only). However, as stated before, the Stormrider has always been account-wide and I believe this will still be the case, save for everything else being a one-only option.

    They hardly did it out of generosity. Had they not licensed the neverwinter name or been f2p, it would have quickly sunk. The thing is with f2p, you can see that it has gone downhill and it doesn't really hurt to stay around. If you have to pay for content you can easily move on. It's surprising people still support neverwinter to the extent it is though. Still at least I'm preferring mod 5 to the other mods. Only took them 5 mods to give us something worth farming even if they haven't learned about relatively bug free releases.

    I honestly have no clue why some people white knight cryptic, it took them about a year to fix a relatively important door glitch. Coding a freaking door should not be rocket science. That's ignoring the other issues including ruining the economy twice and having the worst refining systems one could possibly implement. They clearly don't value their supporters after they have supported them.

    Can someone please confirm if that mount is going to be BoE please? There's only one hint: "This mount can only be obtained once per account, but will be available at the rewards claim agent and can be claimed by any character on the acount" so it would be like the last Lord's Armored Polar Bear, right? If it were like the zen market mounts, it would say "reclaimable for each character" and therefore BoP...

    When do we get rewarded? Decided to bite on a few profession booster packs but didn't get my title.
