As I have commented elsewhere - I really hope the focus for DCs will not be on just improving their healing and DPS. The reason DCs are considered useful in high-end content today is because of their ability to buff and debuff - if they can double the DPS of other group members they are considered worth including in a group.
If the focus is on making DCs heal better and do more damage - well, that may be useful for PvP DCs, but it might effectively destroy the class for PvE purposes.
If we end up with the ability to make viable and different healing, buffing and DBS builds, that would be the best outcome, however.

Personally I'd love to have the DC's Epic Feat trees reshuffled and put together like they did the HR's with Mod 4 - have one tree that is obviously DPS focused, one that is obviously Healing focused, and one that is obviously buff focused. Key word here is obvious though - the current set of Epic Feat Trees are kind of hard to get a read on and the descriptions aren't much help IMO.
As for what I'd like to see with TRs? PvE improvements mostly. Part of it is that I didn't build him very well at character creation (first character and created during open Beta so no convenient guides yet) and part of it is that his gear isn't over-the-top awesome, but...even with that I feel like I spend more time dodging and guzzling potions in the more difficult content than I do attacking - to the point that I often feel like dead weight in team play. I'd especially love to see the Scoundrel Tree overhauled and some of the TR's very limited control abilities buffed through those feats - possibly even add some new control effects or make Dazing Strike's stuns capable of working on some of the tougher PvE enemies that are presently immune or allowing them to interrupt some of the new uninterruptible wind-ups that the ToD mobs have it would go a long way towards making the TR feel less squishy and the Scoundrel tree feel less like a waste of feat points.
You mean to say "One very specific PvP-centric melee HR build and gear set, which due to damage disparity between melee and bow falls far short of Bow HR viability in PvE, is more powerful than I would like it to be."...right?

Talking about PVP.
Endgame PVE is dead and unrewarding in this game. Endgame PVE is a complete joke at the moment until challenging 10-man raids with guaranteed BIS loot comes to fruition. Hit the dragons for 1 point of damage then afk. You don't need dps for that.
It is no wonder every respectable endgame PVE guild in this game is either dead or has switched to PVP.

I do primarily PvE with my endgame HR...so...I'm not respectable? Is that where you want to go with this, belittling people who are concerned about PvE? You're welcome to go there...but it might not be as fun as you think.

I have noticed that a lot of people who post on these forums offer "blanket" opinions as facts. Too many pro players on these forums making us average players feel a bit confused . . .

I wonder if his definition of "respectable PvE guilds" is "Guilds that used to glitch and speedrun CN all the time but gave up when most of the loopholes were fixed" ?
I wonder if his definition of "respectable PvE guilds" is "Guilds that used to glitch and speedrun CN all the time but gave up when most of the loopholes were fixed" ?
You mean the time when the CN end boss was actually challenging and fun? Because those guilds can still clear the entire dungeon in just about the same time it took some of the TRs to run to the end anyway.
I was a hardcore PvEr when the game started, when there was actually some challenge in it because you couldn't stack like 7k+ power with 2k LS, a ton of HP, get a ton of pet bonuses, etc. The only way PvE is challenging now is if you just started the game or everyone is entering a dungeon with 8k gs. And without the challenge, it gets insanely repetitive when you've played for a while.
I really hope the focus for DCs will not be on just improving their healing and DPS.
The major problem with the DC is that Critical Strike does not apply to everything, and Armour Penetration does not apply to all damaging powers.
I hope they DRASTICALLY increase the damage and healing of DC powers, so they are more in line with what they should be.
My Dwarven DO, 15.3k GS, Profound Righteous, Battle Berserker War Priest build should heal at least as well as my Tiefling Healer Build, and do even more damage than he does.
My Tiefling AC, 14.5k GS, Grim Faithful, Healer Priestess build should do as much damage with the same powers as my Dwarf, and even better healing than she does now.
My level 31, 4.2k GS Warlock does a lot more relative damage than my DO and much better relative healing than my AC.
And she is only level 31 and has NEVER had to drink a healing potion yet in all the Skirmishes, Dungeons, Foundries and PvE content she has done. And she has never died once, except in PvP.
But improving buffs and debuffs as well would also be good.
Personally I'd love to have the DC's Epic Feat trees reshuffled and put together like they did the HR's with Mod 4 - have one tree that is obviously DPS focused, one that is obviously Healing focused, and one that is obviously buff focused.
Amen to that. The way the Warlock trees are arranged makes perfect sense. I wish the DO and AC Trees were like that. Although, in my experience the DO makes a better dps/debuffer and the AC makes a better healer/buffer as they are. But both are really rather the poor cousins of AD&D Priests.
Although, now they are fairly well-geared, I am used to them as they are. I do not really want Feats moved around too much, but the bonuses they grant should be worth having and more in line with other classes. especially the useless Heroic Feats.
At the moment, I have these:

DO AC
RIGHTEOUS RIGHTEOUS
Righteous Rage V Righteous Rage V
Ethereal Boon V Ethereal Boon V
FAITHFUL
Enduring Relief V
Prestigious Exaltation V
Invigorated healing V
Moon Touched V
VIRTUOUS VIRTUOUS
Rising Hope II Rising Hope I
Desperate Renewal V
Restoration Mastery III
Nimbus of Light V
Focused Poise V
Cycle of Change I
As much as I want to see the Cleric class restored to it's true and original power position, I don't really relish the though of fully re-specing again.
I like how every thread turns in to a nerf HR thread even the ones that have nothing to do with nerfs or the class for that matter. "I like the Sunite Orb" "When I was wearing it an OP HR came and killed me they really need a nerf"
"Clerics are getting two different flavors of healing feats and a full set of damage feats+ Divine Mode rework."
This is exciting!
To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, clerics finally get some love and they've even mentioned some dps upgrade. On the other, I could not care less about healing (it'll be useless anyway) and there is nothing there about buffing, which tells me they'll do it all wrong.
I know it's a dream, but it would sure be nice if the main/off hand was changed to mace/shield for cleric along with the other wonderful changes coming.
That's not true. Fox shift got nerfed. Twice actually- cause they didn't like the first nerf.
Thrice, actually.
1) Doesn't hit 3 times anymore
2) No more spammable
3) Back to spammable with a cooldown if missed.
I'm sure they'll make it strike only once next time. Mark my words.

As long as lifesteal is as strong for all damage classes as it is presently (not to mention further augmented by Endless Consumption boon), any form of healing is superfluous.
The only useful thing DCs currently bring to the table since Mod2 onwards is Damage mitigation and debuffs.
Mitigation is slowly becoming a thing of the past as well with everyone now having much higher defense values, that DCs can't actually contribute much further for GFs and GWFs, or enemies hitting so hard, that even with capped 80% mitigation you still get one-shot.
If you want a Healer cleric to ever become viable again, first you need to put a cap on the lifesteal amount per point AND per hit.
And then reduce the healing a Temptation Warlock can provide to the party.
Otherwise, you may as well be creating a class path that noone will choose, because in mid game onwards, it is simply unwanted, and respecs cost money, ergo people feat/build for the endgame, as they get carried through early game anyway.
As for a damage path for clerics - unless it somehow contributes similar amounts of damage as a CW, HR or SW, people will just pick a CW, HR or SW instead, because of speed.

I agree with all you said.
I really don't care for any healing upgrades because of reasons you named, but I'm looking forward to see improved dmg, even if it'll be meaningless in a party, clerics really could use that for soloing. It could be a bit of a problem if I'll have to choose between dmg and buffs but... it's too early for that, how is the new suppose to loook like it yet to be seen.

Wrong. My guild still does a lot of PvE groups. I am sure there are others, too. Maybe it's not one of the "respectable" ones? :P

Agree with this. Our guild has broken out into a PvP guild and a PvE guild. It works out very well for us. Play what you like
Don't forget CW. They're OP as hell too (both in PVP and PVE). But you main that one so of course you would forget.
executioner is going to live up to its name
looks live we are getting a dmg boost hehehe nice
me like

HRs are still untouched.
