So after messing around on the preview shard, I stumbled upon a VERY interesting build. But it requires me too be a Dwarf, and I don't want a short character =/... The Dwarf is such an amazing RACE for the GF class but dang, I don't wanna be short >_<!!!! What should I do lol...?

    Dont know bout you man but I simply cant play a race I dont like. I can ignore STAT bonuses in favor of looks if the looks appeal to me but not the other way around.

    Use Villain's Menace as much as possible. You'll be a big dwarf. :p

    I like short : I have the impression I move faster than I actually do. Only problem is with some interactive zones that are too high (often tables or things like that ...)

    Changing fov gives same result.
    Anyway, maybe @looter will give a short info about it ;) or its just trick to make new thread about nothing?

    Huh? Oh yeah, it's TOTALLY a new thread about nothing. Dwarfs being an excellent race for GF's is nothing too discuss. I mean honestly, when have I EVER spoke about 'something?' Geez, I need too get with the program.

    False alarm people, there's no new build here :D!!!

    No, seriously, am I the only one encountering problem with interactive zones with short races ? I sometimes have to jump on things with my dwarf to get them working.

    Nope, you are not alone. As an example, my Dwarf GWF had to jump on the platforms in CT to get his first chest. He also occasionally gets stuck on stairs because he can't just run up. . .

    But what irritates me the most about the Dwarf is clipping and the fact that he cannot wear a helm. Thanks to their massive brows and proboscis of a nose helms are a no go. I was mortified that I could not wear the Dread Legion helm because my face pierces through.
    PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

    I would say try to make it work with your existing race. It might not be as fully effective but at least you will feel right doing it lol.

    Guys u are so pessimistic... Look at the bright side of things :) U are that short that nobody can hit u ;) I with my half elf GF can t hit small races (halfling and dwarf) I just hit thin air and it looks very odd... and I m not even very tall

    You are not hitting thin air, as long as Dwarfs are concerned at least : we can't wear helmets (our nose is ... problematic), so you are in fact butchering our hair. Imagine the consequences !

    For a gf my fave race has to be human because 3 extra feats is good

    No build requires you to play a certain race.
    Yes, dwarf is a nice option for a GF, especially in PVP, but you loss very little in going random really.

    Dwarf was my choice until ToD, the Dwarf helmet doen't fit right and the nose pokes out looking like Bozo, the armor seems awkward and the Racials weren't helping in any capacity.


    I went Dragonborn and love it!

    Did you guys know it's possible too have 80% damage resistance, with a REALLY insane guard meter? But of course this build has NO dps whatsoever, but is VERY possible too achieve lol?

    I love my Dwarf GF. Once you go short-stack you never go back, baybee.. XD

    Warning, though.. last I heard the racial bonuses don't work in pve.

    I just can't do it >_<!! I can't see me as a Dwarf, making montages lol. There's a height requirement to look bad*** lol.

    Dam*** man! I've made such an INSANE build, but I don't wanna be a DWARF >_<! If I stay human, I'll loose a lot of something, that I need!...

    Stay human a lol, also sure if you had 80% dr your fray would be nice but soloing stuff would be super boring... probs would want to take a nap dueing the fights it would be so long and boring..

    I've got a GF dwarf and am interested to learn about your build :)

    Perhaps you can link it? Or does it require good gear/enchants?
    Suggestions to improve NW:
    - Dualspec
    - Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
    - Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
    - Armory
    - make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)

    Too your question about the gear requirements. The answer is "YES & NO" lol. The core of the build is based on something else, and then the gear is a huge bonus. As for me releasing it, I still haven't decided yet. I'm still testing things.
