If it actually relates to D&D or Neverwinter, it's generally ok (unless it's insulting).

5% crit sev should be on an epic pet!

Will it be account-wide like the HR pack pet?
Then I should pull the "Shut up and take my money" thing!

Is it safe to assume this will be 3500 zen to match the HR pack?
    Where'd my blinky-blinky path go?

That's a reasonable guess, but that's as much as you're likely to plan on until they release it.

As if they tell the price of stuff before they put them out.

Well considering the "Scourge" part of the Scourge Warlock indicates that it is an Infernal Pact I am not sure what else you could have expected. My issue is that the story appears to force me to be a "hero" because Belial apparently want to project a "positive" image to lure more unsuspecting people into accepting a pack. How lame can you be.

What I wanted to be is one of those Warlocks that "stole" power from a devil rather than entering into a voluntary pact (lore supported way to gain Warlock powers by the way). Then I would have a reason to defy the devils and protect Neverwinter to follow along with the great story line. Stealing the power just opens alot more role play options that some crazy pact with an Arch Devil offers because he wants to look less evil.

How does a starting warlock steal power from an Archdevil? When you can actually be useful to a devil or contend with one ,that's when the nature of the pact can be modified.I'm sure the expectation is you will die before that time.

actually, if memory serves, it was Rebel Devils oppsing Asmodeus's rule that first taught the mortal races how to steal power from fiends, and the methods taught were undetectable to the fiend being stolen from, UNLESS too much power was taken at once.

so a fiend wouldnt even notice the power being taken by a low level 'lock, but as they gained in power, the risk of discovery grows greater and greater, eventually becoming inevitable.

THAT would have been a MUCH better basis for a storyline than what we have currently.

    No safe assumptions yet.

The Hunter Ranger Booster Pack contained,
account-wide: a blue companion, a blue hat, a blue cloak, 2 blue HR weapons, and a title
    single-claim: a 24-slot bag, a pack of miscellaneous junk

Rumour has it that the Scourge Warlock Pack will contain a blue companion, a hat, a cloak and a SW pact-blade. No indication about what parts are account-wide, and what else might be bundled in.

As an aside, the Dragonborn Legend Pack has contradictory English and French descriptions (with respect to claiming the 30-slot bag), so you never really know what you're going to get from a bundle until it goes live.

Yeah I recall it was something like this. You could steal power from Devils the more powerful the devil and the more power you stole, the more at risk you were that they would take notice. If they did notice you, then you were marked for life and the Devil in question would go to great lengths to either destroy your or more often than not, steal your soul so they could torment you for eternity.

It was basically a way for people who wanted to role play an Infernal background without having to pledge themselves to evil to get it. Some people kind of get weirded out even role playing that scenario which is why I think they added it as a lore option in the PnP games.

If it is the Blue, Warlock themed Companion, Hat, Cloak, Pact Blade AND a 24 slot bag for 3500 MC then I am probably in. That will leave me 1300 MC for extra bank slots or toward a nice purple mount. (going to spend $50 when the warlock comes out).

I've already stocked up the ZEN, but will only spend them if the companion (and other stuff, except the bag) is account-redeemable like the Hunter pack. If it is one-shot, the pack isn't worth it.

Yet another time the companion is shown with the purple level bonus even though the companion is not purple.
I wasted five million AD promoting the Foundry.

I doubt there will be a bag as the Dragonborn (Race) pack and HR Booster pack already come with bags - so I'm not so sure they'd be redundant that way (I obviously could be mistaken on that). The companion and Weapon and any gear will likely be Bind on Pickup/All Characters on account (weapon only usable on Warlocks only, obviously).

Just no exp boosts or other boring stuff please...

Sure, provided you have a pocket healer/pocket tank.

Erinyes is already a healer, so that's covered ;)

I'm personally curious what they're going to be doing for the erinyes' skins. The current Erinyes models in-game are cool, but visually uninteresting to look at for a long time. Plus, there's only two of them, and we need four.

I for one am glad that it's a Enriyes companion, as I'm trying to have nothing but evil themed companions (Duergar Dwarf, Drow Wizard, and faithful initiate " Tiefling"), companion. I'll buy the pact based on that since I have Thayan box weapons anyways with 8-10 enchants.

If they really wanted to make some cash, put in some low level legacy sets that scale as you level (blue chest, arms, legs and feet) that was less than tier 1 at level 60.
I may not be considered by most the BEST PVP Warlock on the server but, I am the most HATED amongst them.

The Scourge Warlock is free to play. There will be a Scourge Warlock Booster Pack on launch day that is similar to the Hunter Ranger Booster Pack that came out when the HR was released.

If it doesnt have something else, it wont be worth the 30 bucks.

They will have to add something other then the companion.

Try taking a look at the HR pack; it's a good example of what the HR pack will likely contain.

Well if it doesn't have something else it wouldn't be a pack would it? it would just be a companion xD

Well, Again, if they wanted to rake in some cash the legacy set (Head, chest, feet an hand armor that leveled to 60 "Blue") would be prime for the whales (Folks with money). Hell, I would pay $100 for that over the **** Dragonborn box (which I am buying on Thor's day:) ).

This was a good move for them in my opinion and is well received, although I wish they had a Fey Pact so I could make a DROW Warlock that would be Dex + Charisma based instead of Charisma + Con like the Infernal. Hmm, may be I should just wait until they bring out a Fey Pact and then make a Warlock, " The Druid class may be out by then".

    Decisions, decisions.

True. It might come with a Blue Dagger and off-hand weapon, and cloak or something, also possibly an Adventurers Backpack (or whatever it's called - the mini booster with XP boosters, potions and stuff) - the Companion - Main Hand and Off Hand weapons will be class-specific for Warlocks.

I really like my HR Booster pack other than the class-specific stuff, the rest comes in handy for all my characters at beginning stages. Though I'm "companioned-out" (way too many account-wide companions to be any kind of useful) - I'll have to look at what it is (the whole package). If they sell it in the Zen Market I'll likely get it. If not, then probably not as I have way too much Zen Points sitting around and nothing of interest in the market to spend it on right now (and most certainly not interested in AD right now).
