It is time for all adventures to take arms and bring the fight to Captain Malus Blackdagger and his bandits.

    Can you give us any information about this new call to arms store that is mentioned in the calendar reminder for the CTA event and also can you tell us if Artifacts have a chance to drop from the CTA versions of the skirmishes please?

    Will the "Medallions of Battle" go in the currency container? Normal storage is already at a premium.

    I do enjoy the Call to Arms events. Is it likely the bug will be fixed whereby players are receiving the wrong class items from skimish chests by the time it starts?

    I wonder if that axe in the picture is one of the skins GWF's can use. If it is, i'm sad, because axes/hammers are broken completely right now.

    By the sounds of it they are introducing a new currency and a CTA store to spend it in where you purchase the items you want , I have no idea if the skins are in there though but hopefully they will be as well as every other potential drop .

    Sounds like the skins are in there. It says you can purchase the weapons with the new currency. The calendar info suggests the same thing.

    Exactly THIS! don't understand why those transmute models can't be changed. At the moment they just look stupid.

    I hope that the skins aren't BoP from the CTA store, i usually run the CTA events with just one character to get a better chance at the companion/mount and stock up on enchants, and having the skins BoP means if i want a skin on another toon i have to go grind with that one too, which really eats into my day...taking time from other things i need to do

    You can see the item descriptions for the weapon skins if you click on the event reminder in the calendar and it looks like main hand skins are BoP and off hand ones are BoE so for example GF Sword is BoP and GF Shield is BoE , same for TR and HR main hands and off hands. CW , DC and GWF only have one weapon that can be seen so all their skins are BoP...

    Its pretty much unplayable right now. Everyone in guild and Legit channel and even zone chat are talking about extreme lag and rubberbanding in this CTA, which vanishes the moment you leave the CTA area.

    Netgraph shows massive spikes every 1-2 seconds.

    Have we had any CTAs that didn't have problems out of the gate?

    only tried CTA once and it was horrific, but I have been having bad rubberbanding wherever I have gone, especially in PE.

    in the past, I have only had minor issues with it, but it's never been anywhere near as bad as this.

    unplayable IS the word!

    I couldn't wait for the CTA to begin, wanted to switch my Azures & Radiants to Brutals, but that's not going to happen, if something is not done about the lag. It seems to me that every time there's a lot of ppl in the same zone there's massive lag & rubberbanding. Please do something about your servers, cause at the current state it's unplayable and it's getting worse as more and more ppl try to do the CTA.

    I know it was not my connection, nor is it my ISP (which so commonly is the blame target of MMO companies now days) since this was my entire teams experience, and some of us were not even in the same Country.

    This is likely the worst I have personally seen since launch, it needs to be resolved asap. The event it's self is taking around 20 minutes for what seems should be around 8 minutes at best. Near impossible to decipher what you are doing as you keep bouncing all over the place, skills act as if they are on any where from a 0.0 second cool-down to an eternal cool-down. Mobs are nigh impossible to track as you and they are continuously warping from one spot to another random spot.
    Some things are meant to remain lost.

    I don't know if this is relevant but while in a party in the CTA event , I am still able to read Zone chat and other Party chat from players NOT in my party/CTA instance.

    Wouldn't it be possible to buy the companion for medals of battle instead of only the transmutable weapons? I really have a bad luck when it comes to drops and this way even folks like me who are not so beloved by the RNG would have a chance at getting the companion outside of the AH. Thanks.

    I just snagged one for two days of capped refining. During an event like this, I find it's a good idea to keep checking for that just-in-case-I-don't-get-one purchase, because there are people grinding all heck out of it and undercutting each other.

    Not to say your idea is bad, but don't wait until after the event ends to buy if you think you might end up having to buy to get the thing. Take advantage of the opportunity to get it cheaply. If you end up with extra, sell after they get scarce.
