Good way to make AD after the patch!

Well neverwinter hit us hard with upcoming patch so we can "revange" to them a bit for BOP-ing things and cuting gold income.

Go to AH now and buy items that cost 2-3-5k AD now after patch ther will be Salvage system so we wil get 10k rAD for some items. After FF goes live you can salvage this items bought for 3-5k and make some extra profit from it.

So what should you buy? Here you go and have fun:

    That's were all the seal/Gaunt/PVP gear will be going soon too. Unfortunately I hit the cap every day with leadership on some characters and the rest come pretty close, so this would actually cause me to lose money. It is a great idea for those who do not come close.

    You wont lose money. You can get over 24k but you cant refine more then 24k per day. So you would get profit but in some time. If you put 500k in this items and lets say you can get 50% (but probably you can get 100-150% profit) more you would make 750k you will need 30 days to refine them. Its a bit long but you can make very nice money this way.

    Thanks for the tip... all I got is a few AD to my name so will try investing in this... errr the pic in the link seems to be low res as well :(

    Try to click on picture it should zoom in, everything is ok on this end.

    My storage and mails are already full. I've been doing this as soon as the announcement has been made, and the most profitable opportunities are gone (like T2 set items for 4-5k, main hand for 2k, and so on). I think i made some of the best deals, i was online when the announcement was made, it was a sticky, no one reads that, i've been lucky. :)

    By the way, why would it be a revenge? I mostly see good stuff in the update, including this very profitable opportunity.

    In order to get your profits faster than 24k a day, you could buy the items, put them in your account mailbox and take them out on different toons and sell them that way. It spreads the profit around and allows you to refine them faster. Just saying.

    Its funny that about 2 hours after the list in OP was posted the AH on Mindflayer is starting to get a bit bare....lol

    people have been doing this already on beholder as well, even all the needed professions tools are being taken for those needed on the new professions..

    wow... I seem to be the only one who cant view the list... click on it and nothing... no zoom option... tried different browsers as well.. any suggestions??

    Epic main hand items dropping from T2 dungeons sell for 10k each. T2 set items sell for 6 to 8k iirc. Off hands and jewellery don't give you a lot of ADs.

    Please understand that what you salvage is ROUGE AD and you can only do 25k a day... so think about this before buying millions of AD worth of Rough AD. 2.5Mil Rough AD is 100 days!!!

    I reached the mailbox limit storing stuff to salvage on my 7 accounts and I had to create another 4 accounts.

    I noticed alot of these items on Dragon are disappearing quickly too now. Glad I grabbed some before the rush

    Yes please change your refined AD for rough AD good tactic. I bet if someone puts a post where it says that trainning runestones will go up with the new patch, they will dissapear from the AH

    Oh good call. It should do, a previous event stated "every quest and activity that awards Astral Diamonds." I'd class salvaging as an activity.

    A player:
    -Buys 10 items for 5k AD each
    -Salvages them for 10k rough AD each
    -Spends 5 days refining them(24k per day limit)

    Notice this player has literally doubled his money spent just by logging in at least once a day for 5 days and clicking a button.

    Heh, I'm going to laugh so hard if they do something like making existing items not salvageable.

    Still, there are people who spent like 300k refined AD, and they will get like 500k... in 20 days lol you can do more just buying and selling, and use your leadership and other things for the rough AH.

    Not sure how much I've spent but it's much more than 300k, maybe as much as 1.5m. I wont be getting less than double back though, more like 4 times as much if I just salvage. I also have the option of reselling if the price is higher than the salvage amount. Spread across 22 characters (if I don't make more) I can shift it in less than 2 weeks if I choose to salvage. And I'm not limited to just that, I can still buy and sell and do leadership on top of that.

    Maybe they'll throw a spanner in the works somehow, c'est la vie.
