    Nope. Neither the winning team or the losing team had the quest update. It's still sat in my journal with "Complete a siege event". I was on the winning team if it means anything.

    No it didnt sadly. We got rewards from Siege, but quest 'Storming the Castle' was not completed. Its still active in my quest log, even tho i participated in Siege event.

    Nope, the quest did not completed. On the final screen some people recall seeing a placeholder item as a reward called something like 'Item for the Guild'.

    Owlbear Cub:

    It's my understanding that the Active on this companion will gain a 30 second cooldown in 12.5 making it all but useless.

    Hey guys, I wanted to chime in on the Owlbear Cub ACB, as it has been getting mentioned here and there. As of M12.5 the ACB for this companion has a 1 second internal cooldown (not 30 seconds). It should still be far from useless, but this will tone down its damage by quite a bit. We are taking a look at builds that relied on proccing this a ton, such as Temptation SW, and seeing if we can provide some compensation.

    I just put up a thread with some of the SW changes going in, that can be found via the link below. That said, we want to keep the rocktober thread on topic, so if you have feedback on the owlbear cub / other classes, please use the respective forums. Thank you!

    Bug: When scaling is turned on (200% in this case) some of the campaign windows is all jumpeled up.

    According to the groups asking for dps and not accepting TRs I'd say according to the general population, no we are not viable. As a TR can I out DPS other high geared classes? Yes on occasion but that is a matter of skill. The problems is that other classes are better than us in either single point or on mobs. We can do both but not as strong. It's as though we are a jack of all trades but masters of none.

    We can't even work as a controller support class since CC is not supported by the game. Every class has a role to play that they excell at better than any other. We don't have such a role.

    If I took on a veteran player of another DPS class against myself also a veteran, we both had the best gear, build and equal amounts of skill. They would be better every time.

    We don't ask for buffs to be superior. We just asks to be equals and for our powers to work as stated. I've expressed concern on being reworked. Just because you change something doesn't make it better.

    Kind of like giving us rank 14s but cutting bondings down 100%. We have the chance to net 800 additional stat points more than before the nerf. But with poor drops rates will take over half a year to get back to our stats before 12b.

    Not all change is good. I don't want things to be worse. Then people as they have already, will quit playing TRs and switch to a different class.

    With that reasoning why would cryptic bother making a new class if we don't play the ones we have?

    The description of Abandoned Treasures in the Cloaked Ascendency campaign lies about how they are acquired. It states you receive treasures from looting dig sites. This is not true. Dig sites never award Abandoned Treasures.

    Thanks for the info everyone. I am not able to reproduce the problem locally but I cleaned up the checks and added a couple of failsafes. Going to get QA to look at this and see if they can break it with the updated checks. Hopefully we can get this out to you soon.

    Seals of the Shadowmantle do not drop anywhere from the Dread Ring campaign or from Valindra's Tower, yet references to the seal continue to exist. Zoey Fargo still has her seal shop next to Dell McCourt which is impossible to buy artifact bags from, and the x2 Dread Ring event claims you get double Seals of the Shadowmantle, a currency which has never dropped since long before that event was first created. In comparison, Seals of the Dark Fey still drop from Malabog's Castle and are doubled during x2 Sharandar Currency.

    Thanks for letting us know, I did notice a few days later (which had probably been there a few days at least) that it was mentioned in the preview forum patch notes. There was a few things I mentioned that were also in those notes that had most likely been there before I even posted my reports so didn't want to update everything and take up valuable space here when they were already clearly listed in the right forum.

    I should really read the preview forum more but I have the attention span of a rabbit in a carrot field! @araneax you have been summoned!

    Thank you so much for the October Fix Month and for everyone's hard work in fixing issues for the community that have bugged (sorry couldn't help myself) us all for so long. I can only speak for myself but it's really, really nice to see and will improve my gaming experience immensely, I can only assume that many others will feel the same way :)

    [Brand New Module 12.5 Bugs]

    Deinonychus Mount, Axe Beak Mount, Giant Strider Mount:
    These mounts are not scaled correctly, they are currently bigger than the legendary t-rex mounts.
    Characters riding these mounts hover slightly above the saddle when these mounts run. My character is a halfling so unsure if they do this for all races.

    Freindlist Notes:
    The notes you can add to players on your freindlist are now unable to be saved. I just added a new person to my freindlist today and every single time I attempt to write a note about them, I am unable to save it and it resets to blank as soon as the text window closes. Whenever I hit save, the following message also appears in the chat box:

    [System Notify] Unknown command "FriendComment".

    @consustes If you change appearance again, select a face from the premades before hitting "customize" and there should be no shirt. The shirt will appear if you go straight into "customize".

    (And yes, this is a bug. We're only supposed to have an ugly bra, not an ugly hairshirt.)

    Something's gone odd with the ingame calendar. It is listing today (Thu Oct 26th) as a Sunday, making the Masquerade event last until next Saturday. October 29th even appears twice in it. (I play from Germany, English client, no Proxy)

    #2 Relic Salvage
    Unrestored Relic Armor displays to be salvagable for 1 refinement point, but isn't salvageable/convertible at all. Restored Relic Armor can only be converted to 1 RP but not salvaged. Vivified Relic Armor salvages for 5500 AD. (I only really converted/salvaged shoes, but the tooltip during the process is the same for all pieces)

    #3 Mundane Runestone
    With the change of the Eldritch Runestone, which I appreciate much, as it enables a wider choice of Augment Companions, I'd like to suggest the introduction of the Mundane Runestone (or call it whatever), equalizing the Dark Enchantment, thus having Armor Penetration as offensive stat and Lifesteal as defensive one.

    [More Brand New Module 12.5 Bugs]

    Manticore Mount:
    The tail for the manticore mount is bent weird and no longer has any spikes on it.

    Champion's Armored Bulette Mount, Various Heavily Armored Horse Mounts, Dawn Unicorn Mount, All Polar Bear Mounts, Giant Beetle Mount, All Spider Mounts, Feline Mounts With Saddles, Some Canine Mounts, Legendary Tyrannosaur Mounts (one side), Cavalry Tyrannosaur (both sides):
    The rider's legs clip into the saddle. The severity of this clipping varies but in general, mounts with bigger saddles, lots of armor, or are heavily built animals do it the worst. My character is a halfling so unsure if they do this for all races.

    Mounts That Are Low to the Ground:
    The rider's legs appear to be bent more at the knees/scrunched up closer to the body than before module 12.5. Its suposed to do this some but it appears to be more severe now. This is probably related to the clipping issue mentioned above. My character is a halfling so unsure if they do this for all races.

    More Bugs:

    Tiamat Delayed Death Bug:
    When your team successfully reduces Tiamat to 0 health and there is less than 6 seconds left on the timer, Tiamat will fail to die and another round of protecting the clerics will start. This is also an old and extremely common bug.

    Mount + Cape Visuals Bug:
    When you are mounted, any cloak/cape you are wearing becomes invisible. I own 118 mounts and the only one that does not have this bug is the whirlwind mount.
    This bug has been around for a while and I have seen many people mention their frustrations with it in game. I have had this bug myself for many mods at this point and it never goes away.

    It looks like the devs have been doing work on Tiamat bugs and mount bugs recently so I thought I'd make these 2 similar bugs more visible. If you find yourselves doing any more work on mounts or Tiamat, I recommend fixing these 2 bugs at the same time.

    While I appreciate that players are still holding the devs' feet to the fire when it comes to the TR rework we need, there are a couple of things I'd like to point out.

    SWs also badly need maintenance done on their class; owing to the recent nerfs SW got, it makes sense that the devs have already launched an SW thread. I suspect a TR thread is not far behind. There are 2 classes and one category of build specs that need reworks the most right now and should be next in line. These are TR, SW, and all control specs across all classes. The devs should work on all 3 of these things at around the same time as eachother instead of doing one class at a time with months of wait in between each one.

    Secondly, I want to address an overstatement. The TR class is in fact still viable (or at least executioner still is). If something is not viable, it means it cannot function well enough to survive/continue being used. TRs are still able to hang on in PVE and filling dps slots with TRs instead of other classes can still get you through any dungeon in the game. Granted, PVE TRs do have much weaker DPS than the other classes, are less useful than the other classes, and due to their bad reputation, are often exluded from groups. But if TRs were so weak that we weren't viable anymore, nobody would still be playing TRs. There was even a poll done recently on what class PVE players use as their main and TRs were found to be the largest group.

    I am not sure if this has been reported, but I have run into this on occasion.

    The weekly House of Crocodile quest can bug under the following set of circumstances:

    When you enter the second room of mobs, there are some in the middle of the room that you see and kill right away. Then a second group spawns behind you (to one side of the stairs). Sometimes that group fails to appear, I remain in combat stance and nothing happens. It feels as if they spawned on the other side of the walls and I am unable to target them.

    This seems to happen more frequently when I initially engage the mobs in the room with a ranged attack before actually entering the room, but I am not 100% sure if that is the cause.
    Hoping for improvements...

    Guardian fighter mark (tab) overwrites all at wills apart from weaponmaster strike.

    What I mean by this is that normally the tab ability is higher up the order of precedence so that if you press it will cease the current action and apply mark. This is not the case with WMS.

    With weaponmaster strike you have to stop using the ability, wait for the animation to finish, then press tab, then repress wms, making it painful to use.

    Tong: sometimes after killing ras he doesn't drop any reward (including seals, riches etc) it's almost as if he fails to register being killed. The chests still activate however. Maybe it is lag related?

    Forums: there is no button to easily change text color when using mobile devices. Therefore making it too difficult to colour text easily enough to bother doing for bug/feedback posts.

    There is however a button for smileys :D
