I actually had this discussion with a few guild mates earlier this year about a half price sale on zen but this is better!! A half price sale on all Zen items starting the 26th of November for 1 day only!

So I suggest everyone buys zen now while its cheap ie under 400 AD/Zen and then you can buy what ever you want from the Zen store at 50% off on the 26th of November.

Everyone wins!

    ...this does not necessarily mean it'll be on next week's calendar. :^/

    So, better not to hold your breath. Also, crossref with the Tarmabar Trader rework before you buy something for much ZEN. You might be able to buy it for little amounts of Tarmabar...

    I can only say that the OP's suggestion is a good one, holding on zen. Of course this is my opinion. The Tradebars are from keys, keys are from zens. More need on tradebars means more need on zen. If there is a one day sale, that is a bonus. 1250 zen for an account unlock mount could be a very good deal for many ones who don't own an epic mount. One tradebar store epic mount costs 2400 tradebars which means about (at least) 240 lockboxes (8 months VIP).

    Guess I need to avoid zen spending until this happens - or not :)
    With the changes for the bars, might be worth my while opening a couple lockboxes.

    Shopping list for the sale:
    + Guardian of Neverwinter Pack
    + another 6 months ViP
    + Bahamut's Champion Booster Pack
    + 2x 8 slots for the shared bank

    Maybe a bit more, depending on what i will get from those new lockboxes coming with Underdark, and how well that stuff will sell over the AH. Or i'm going to spend some AD on better companions and armor/weapon enchantments...

    Decisions... decisions... decisions.

    i'd like to buy the bahamut's pack. but until they get off their collective rears and finish the economy rebalance they arent getting a dime from me.

    Wouldn't bet entirely on that Metalldjt, people could want an awful lot of zen for keys very quickly if they haven't stockpiled tradebars already, could go either way. It'll probably be pingponging for a few days while a new equilibrium establishes. If they do do a half price sale a week after the Underdark release (Which would be on what the Americans call Black Friday, a recent tradition of huge sales) then it'll make things even more..interesting.

    Oh, well, new Module => New Companion Kit (probabmaybe)...

    ...which then would cost ZEN and hence push the price.

    But this is pure speculation, and not backed by any foreknowledge. Just _some_ new ZEN shinies have almost always been put out with a Mod release.

    Just because it's been removed from the calendar doesn't mean that it's not going to happen. I don't have confirmation either way. Perhaps they just didn't want players to prepare for it this far in advance? I don't really know. I haven't talked to Andy about it.

    The sale is still showing in my calendar... same reports in game, some see and some do not see it anymore in their calendar.

    Im still seeing it on the left hand side in the Featured Events. But not as a bar on the right in the mini calendar screen. I really hope it remains as there are a heap of things I need (IWD Campagin completion for 3rd toon would be lovely thanks)

    50% off everything. I didn't have much Zen but I bought a couple of Shared bank slots and extra two character slots (just in case a monk class becomes available).

    FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base
    Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

    Thank you for the sale.

    I added the Grazilaxx Bundle to my list, i'm not a fan of how those companion bundle works, but i bought it anyway to get the companion and the gloves - btw. why can't we have the same option to choose what we want from the Dusk Boots Pack too?

    And a few Dragon Keys found their way to my inventory too, but the loot from the Demogorgon chest with them was really... [censored].

    Not sure if i'm going to exchange some more AD to ZEN, to buy another round of shared bank slots... i'm probably going to wait for the Cyber Monday sale.
