So basically if you were level 60 you got disowned until you reach 70?

So since the massive update I've noticed a lot of unfair things have been done to my level 60+ characters

Lets start with the lack of skirmishes to complete the daily skirmish quest from Rhix. Not only does the quest description change when you accept it making it impossible, but once you hit level 62 there are no skirmishes for you to do anyway

Tuern missions. Prior to the update you had to pay resources to unlock these missions. Now not only are the missions gone until you hit 70, the prerequisite of unlocking them is gone from the campaign. But no refund of resources was given to me.

Not only that, but the unique legendary necklace and ring I had collected from the tuern skirmish has been replaced by some generic purple trash in my character equipment. Again without any compensation for this theft.

Well of dragons and Tiamat which was accessible is now out of my league until I hit 70.

All the new campaign content is locked until hitting 70. When it should have bern staggered out across the levels from 60-70 giving us something to work through.

Unicorn and Drake seals gone. Now I just get pegasus seals for doing level 64 dungeon runs. Really what do I need pegasus seals for? I'm level 64. Half my gear is artifact gear. They are trash just like the so called rewards just for me in the chests at the end. If you're going to give us seals, for gear we won't ever use at our level, then give us something else we can buy with them. Wards, astral diamonds, or even the seals you get for praying each day. Since you can use those to buy pegasus seals it only makes sense we should be able to trade them the other way. Or at least make so if I buy a bunch of pegasus gear I can feed it to my artifacts as refining points. Hell, just let me straight refine the seals, including my left over unicorn and Drake seals I couldn't spend on astral diamond pouches.

So basically what I'm saying as a level 60+ player I feel like I've been screwed over and abandoned until I grind my way to level 70 doing the quite appalling elemental evil storyline. There is just a huge blackhole of no extra content there in the game for us like there is for players under level 60, and those that have reached 70.

    And what you don't know is that when you do reach 70 you get very little content back and you are not going to be able to complete it anyway because of how stupidly difficult it is.

    And what a horrible slow grind it is to level once you hit +60. I am seriously considering abandoning Neverwinter, I have enough tedious chores in real life. Not only that, but it feels like the game has become way more difficult over night. I don't mind a challenge now and then, but I do mind getting oneshotted as soon as I stick my nose in a dungeon (quest acceptable from lvl 60 and I'm lvl 61. I really don't get it.). I don't even get past the first frikking mob? I don't mind a challenge, but that's just ridiculus.

    they won't change the difficulty to anything easier.. most of the pc players think the dungeons are too easy or at a perfect spot. i personally think the dungeons are perfect the way they are now for now.

    Lol, you obviously don't know Xbox players. The forums are already flooded with topics about how stupid difficult the game is and no progression can be made. They are going to see nothing but these toipics until they fix it or they will see their cash flow drop to nothing.

    Would love to know how much you have spent on this game to think that these are balanced difficulties but i am 100% sure you are just going to claim you have not spent anything.

    As it stands now, it is impossible to grind for gear, impossible to grind for diamonds, and impossible to grind for any decent resources. Game. Is. Unplayable. In. Mod. 6.

    Point of playing a game is to have some measure of fun, that is impossible to do right now as you cannot do anything.

    Lvl 70 here, game is a blast. Difficulty is perfect, i have made well over 2 mil ad since mod 6 released. This is not a game where the casual player is going to excell.
    I play more then 90% of this board probably, but I don't spend any money on this game anymore, haven't for at least 3 months. I have over 2 million refined diamonds and about 600k rough right now and unless I feel like spending everything I cannot progress for HAMSTER. Catering to only HC players will kill a game faster then Jimmy Hoffa. there is no middle ground, having difficult content is fine, but this game offers nothing inbetween. This game in it's current state is no fun at all.

    Majic makes a fair point, they need to have different levels of difficulty/reward for L70+ players so they can play and have fun as they progress.

    That way, people that like a real challenge and have top gear have that available to them and so do average players who just want a bit of fun.

    Everything is easy, all of the quests up to 70 are EASY. The only real difficulty is the dungeons. As far as the grind goes from 60-70, It's not that bad. Just do the main 8x2 story missions and run Azure in utility slots. Farm the Barracks and Nimbus tower, farm giants etc. Before you know it you're 70.

    But yeah, the dungeons are excessively difficult making gear farming for both use and AD salvage is a serious pain.

    Whats the point of having ad if not to progress your character? Before i spent any of my ad outside of buying the eternal set from wod, i formed a group and ran t1s for the blue gear. It was difficult...at first, but once we adjusted to not being able to face roll the enemies and played as a group, things became much easier.

    on another note, these forums make up about 0.1 percent of the player base.
    The price of current gear is too high for the moment to waste on and since there is now basically no flow of diamonds coming into the game, breaking myself would be a bad idea. If the trend of dropping exchange continues I will make use of it to get myself a 110% mount finally. I am alos holding out for the prices to level to finish my lostmouth set.

    I like this title as I completely feel that all the stuff I did up to now was negated with the patch. I put too much $$ into Zen I fear. A friend who played PW games before warned me about this. These difficulty increases are designed to make you purchase Zen to make the game playable for high level players or for players wanting to get back to where they were prior to being nerfed. I did have high hopes.

    Oh you wait til mod 7 - I've just been reading on the PC forums how they've introduced enchantments that drain an opponents AP and stamina/guard.

    These are only available to top tier pvp guilds - as are the wards that offset them.

    The ward goes on your armour and the enchantment on your weapon (overload slots)

    PvP is going to become an even more elitist area and widen the gap between pvp guild members (top players only please!) and everyone else. This is especially the case with guilds being limited to 150 members, guilds are going to be even more picky about IL score to maintain their position.

    @jdnutz I agree. I actually said this pretty much EXACTLY before MOD 6 came out. It was on another thread and I said that this game was going to loose most of its players to other games and/or those who quit because of bs.

    As good as I still am at playing my characters in these new, harder, areas and dungeons, I still think it sucks that you need a group for EVERYTHING in MOD 6. Granted I have a great guild now that is always available to help. I miss the times where I could run the dailies solo to get them done and then run dungeons with my group.

    I can say that as soon as BLOPS3 comes out I will not be playing this game again. Maybe I am alone in saying that, but I don't think so. Others may not play BLOPS, but they are surely going to start leaving in droves.

    I have Alliance Raid armor, well missing one piece, and I can also solo many of the 5 person HE in IWD. It is possible, as I said, just more difficult.

    OP: If you remember correctly, every single thing that you mentioned wasn't available prior to hitting level 60. Level 60 is END GAME. It's when all of those things magically unlocked for you. Now that you are leveling to 70, there is very little to do UNTIL you once again hit END GAME. youre literally complaining about the exact same practice that you took part in before hitting level 60 in the first place..

    I personally enjoy the new update...new gear..areas..enemies..pvp is amazingly better. I should admit I did not spend any prior lol. I feel good about that decision. I was able to get 4 characters to lv60 before the update. Its like that. New character. .wait til lv60 and make mad diamonds..get the best gear and tackle the meanest dungeons...except its 70 now. And thats great..more things to do plus everything you did before. The grind seems easy and also boring so far...I kept my t2 gear til I was lv65. After swapping out its a world of difference. I admit those mini dungeons for the campaign is not friendly to leveling players. The op seems confused about some new game mechanics.

    Yeah I'm loving that sigil - add a negation, feytouched & Burning armour and my AC DC is very hard to kill 1v1. was 2v1 against a CW & TR yesterday near their spawn point. I killed em both twice before they gave up and ran off to kill someone else - lol.

    Clearly didn't read my OP.

    Up until level 60 I still had dungeons to do for the Daily missions from Rhix. I still earned Seals relevant to my level. With the current update. I do not have Dungeons or Skirmishes between level 60 and 70 that count for the Dailies. I do not earn Seals appropriate to my level. So no, I am not complaining about the exact same practice that took place before I hit level 60.

    I am complaining about the lack of everything you could do prior to hitting level 60, once you do hit it. and that lack of content and level specific rewards until you hit level 70.

    What is the point of daily quests that say complete any level 60 dungeon or skirmish when you don't have any to complete until you finish grinding to 70? If I was level 59 I could still complete those dailies.

    So if you remember correctly all that content is there for level 5-59, but from 60-69 it vanishes. Clearly not the same as before, Clearly you did not read my post before commenting.

    Mod 6 removed a lot of leveling dungeons ("for reconstruction"), that's a known issue.
    Thus apart from Cragmire Crypts and Gray Wolf Den there are no other dungeons/skirmishes for you until you are level 70. So go ahead and level up faster. See my other posts about leveling up in Drowned Shore if you want some tips.
