Ioun stone of radiance not equiping anything

Ever since the release of Rise of Tiamat, my Ioun Stone of Radiance refuses to equip any object.
It has 2 rings and 1 belt emplacement. Whatever I try to put in these slots refuses to equip.

EDIT :

Actually, the problem occured when I exchanged this companion with an inactive one.
Then I put the ioun stone back in the dormant companions area, and took it back again, and it accepted to equip slots again.
Weird.

Happens to all kinds of companions and can be corrected by making the companion idle and active again.
