What is the chance of getting the Horn of the Golden Dragon weapon

I opened my first Artifact Chest and got the Talon of the golden Dragon. There are 3 TR Artifact weapons. How does this work. Do you get one of each in your first 3 chest? or is it random? Any information would be great. Thanks. Nilator

    It is random every single time.

    Right now, you have a 1/3 chance of getting it on every chest you open.

    After Mod 5 goes live, every chest will have a 1/5 chance of the weapon you want since they are adding the paragon at-wills too.

    *But* the saving grace is each chest will also drop a shard of dragon-forged steel, and each weapon can be salvaged into another shard. You will be able to trade 6 shards for your choice of weapon at the campaign store, which caps you to 3 failed attempts.

    I have stopped trying to make artifact weapons until Mod 5.

    I wouldn't mind that, but grinding just to do one takes too long. Compared to getting a Fey Blessing enchant which only takes an hour, not a few days....

    So you are saying you should be able to farm the best weapon in game within an hour? I think the system implemented in Mod 5 is as fair to players as it can get tbh

    You need to plan on opening 7 to 8 to have a 95% chance to get what you want, but they added the buy what you wanted in mod 5 which kicks in sooner.

    Before they announced the changes for Mod 5, I was making one weapon per day on one character who failed at getting what I wanted 7 times (then I quit making them).

    It prevented me from doing much else, but you can get all the stuff to make one chest in a single day, so you'll be able to get enough chests to buy a weapon in three days.
