i started to do some pvp obviously like 90% of the community for the banner ... ?
but yet wth is this a hunter cant be killed way to much mobility is nearly untouchable due the 60-70 or who knows 90% deflect rate and the **** heal i noticed has some pvp set thath eals u when u deflect for like 400-500 hp or some percent % ...
balance lacks here hard im playing a GF and i can say thats the real tank not my GF
Hope to see a fix or wtf u cant pvp vs tanks like that neither permanent stealth rogue who deny the points like forever 2-3 shooting clothies and remaining in stealth forever even if u dmg them hard
HR has class mechanics allowing him to heal up on deflect (Wild Medicine, PvP set if used). They do not need to use briartwine and blacksmith, not to mention companions won't work in GG/domination. Above this, HR also has LS improving feats.
So basically they can use all that you're using, and you can never be as good in selfheals and lifesteal because you will lack the class mechanics.
This being said, HR is not a god by any means and they can be defeated in a manner of seconds by any competent CC/DPS couple. Defeating them 1vs1 though is quite hard for most classes, almost impossible for others though.
the game has to many broken mechanics like doing a shift dodge before getting hit and the next 2-3 attack will also dodge example cw teleport rogue dodge roll

As a GF, you will need to learn to anticipate where the dodge will land, and use FLS. It's quite easy actually. Because of how OP Block is against Chill and Icy Rays, a GF should have no reasons to complain against CWs whatsoever.
Regardless, the Dodge is not a broken mechanic, it is WAI. What happens is called an Immunity Frame.
You have to keep in mind, CWs have no defensive mechanics but Dodging and Shield (if they decide to use it), and their defensive stats are considerably weaker than what other classes have.

True. But in return, CWs have more offensive mechanics, and their offensive stats are considerably stronger than what most other classes have too. Not to mention that with the way block is now that theyre ALWAYS taking damage. Especially if theyre running KV to help their teammates. People forget that CWs immunity frame being greatest immunity frame, not to mention their 3 dodges(more if stamina specced) is quite OP as well.
I hear "learn to play" all the time, but it seems to me that it should be defined as "my class is balanced, except when others beat it, then THAT class is OP"...
A gf should not complain against cw now, we can fight them very well and also hr is not godmode, they are stronger than other classes in 1v1 though.
Hr can beat some classes so easy, the only real way to win is to have large mount of dps and get it off quick, I had to create rotation setup just for fighting a hr, it works most of the time but I should not have to do that. I think piercing blades is getting fix sometimes though and that is the main problem. unmitigated dmg is very powerful in pvp, thts why the glyphs re so stupid.

Basically this, and next mod balance is going to be so much better
Just finished some pvp after a long time.played about 3 hours straight just pvp.
I confronted a guildless HR in one match. And i am quite sure fpor the next thing i will say to you cause it happened 2-3 times.
The HR got from nearly 5-10% health to 70-80% in less than 5 secs.I counted them cause he was afar dodging and disenganging. No artifact use.i know what you will say"You are a scrub and you team8s were scrubs"
We were not.Actually we were 3 Dchampions in my team yet if our cw was not present we could not killed him.
1Tr 1 GF 1 GWf vs 1 HR.
Edit:The HRs prones are instant. From the 10-15 flourish i used against him in the whole match he interrupted maybe the 9/10 of them.Flourish animation is so slow while Hrs prones instant. Not fair.
As for his damage?1/3 of my 46k hp every time.
And it is not a matter of gs .HR is broken.I am rank8/9s.So?Even if i would be rank 10s i would have 400hp more and 150 power more.it would not help against his massive damage.
Unmitigated dmg i silly and should be removed from pvp. And yes HRs do have 2 feats for LS, but in order to get that hp back u need to do dmg. Yesterday i got hit by a 30K dmg IR i never had the time to get that hp back before i was at the campfire
It is what it is atm, and hopefully we can see some good changes in pvp for once when next mod hits, even tho i doubt it very much..
You forgot to add the fast CD cool down of artifact I saw a lot of HR use twice under 1 minute, but its okay for now because TR will have the same mechanic in the next module and TR also have infinite dodge and critical strike and its good to have it back the one hit strike of the assassin which most MMO's class feature.

The infinite dodges is almost certainly a bug, so that's not really an issue.

What to say...:(
One good example of this HR is named KORDEN 3 of us cannot handle it and we are above 16k gs the more we strike the more he heals. And ending up 3 of us dead almost the same time because of those AOE damage plus he have 2 skills to go stealth.(1TR, 1GWF, 1GF).

it is not allowed by forum rules to name toons.
But i know the specific player played against him.A very good HR .
Against the aforementioned my flourish sometimes stunned him and i was able to make him disengage by flourish/Anvil.He is killable by 17k gs and above toons.
But....the one i faced was 2x time more lethal . too much deflect so all stuns were minimum and significantly larger healing plus hp pool.
Anyway

Its not his real name but I know most of us knows this HR.
It's not just one or two aspect of the HRs that make it tough to fight against, but rather the "whole package", and the way everything -- and I mean "everything" -- synergizes with each other.
In terms of defense they have:
■ the multi-dodges: most responsive and combat worthy of all dodges in PvP
■ class feature which increases damage resistance too a modest amount
■ an encounter that forces a single dodge in combat and has good utility overall
■ highest average deflect chance of all classes in game
■ a feat from one of the paths that makes sure that deflection turns into a heal
In terms of combat they have:
■ a feat that ignores all defenses and simply guarantees a certain amount of damage always lands
■ an at-will which is centered on proccing DoTs
■ one of the fastest AP gains of all classes
■ a CC power that makes use of that AP gain
■ the game's fastest activating prone
■ a very powerful melee attack that grants IMMUNITY time when activated
■ a reliable gap-closer
In terms of utility they have:
■ multiple ways of entering stealth
..so individual aspects of the HR are quite useful, but not OP at all. But when you put them together into one it brings out a style that is very difficult to counter. The offensive aspect applies a multi-proc DoT that ignores resistances and defenses.. and considering its a DoT coming from a non-magical class it's actually quite strong and not at all weak.
While those DoTs eat up through your HP the HR simply concentrates on defensive action using the self-buffs, escape powers, dodges and deflects.. all the HR needs to do is concentrate in defending itself and just reapply DoTs from time to time and it effectively does both attacks and defenses at the same time frame, whereas in case of other classes, it's either you attack, or you try to defend yourself... and all those DoTs don't mean they don't have any burst. The melee powers like Fox's Shift hits really hard, and the constant harassment of Disruptive shot and Boar's Charge gurantee the initiative always stays to the HR.
Currently the only weakness is that the HR has no CC immunities -- in which case classes that have very strong CC-burst arsenal in their hands can do well against the HR -- so long as; (1) the HR fails to anticipate the crucial incoming CC and falls prey to it, (2) those burst attacks make it through the deflect.
But even if those attacks land well, a few failed attacks of your own and usually with the amount of regen and lifesteal those HRs have, it is right back to almost full health. Add in the potion and artifacts like Lathander's, you effective have a 2 minute time frame to succeed in a number of those CC-burst attacks and finish it off before those are cooled down again... in which case, its back to square one for the HR, but not for you.
...
That being said, I think we should wait and see how the new balance changes take effect. It's not too late to wait and see if the HRs are doing so well even when Tiamat arrives.
As for the heals, I sort of agree its broken. Just the way some attacks coming from GWFs are as much broken.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
Note that next Mod multiple HR things are getting nerfed... Wilds Medicine will undergo its 4th nerf and Peircing Blades will undergo its first nerf. That should be enough, also it's weird to start this thread when the devs stated they were already changing the class again and a lot of the feats weren't working properly.
HRs are too strong right now. But they are not as strong as many of you think they are. You have just faced a superior player maybe. But thats hard to realize and accept.
Often true. Hence the reason I think any cross-class balance issues are simply a futile subject to discuss until the final version of the preview changes hit live.
I'm guessing even after thorough testing, it'd at least take a month on Live for the community to see how things are settling down with new balance between the classes. Hence, at this point, nothing we say are going to matter anyway.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
The fact, that u think gearscore / titles = skill just shows how inexpirienced u really are. You are barking at the wrong tree. There are many players with 20k+ gs who are bad. Very bad.
Every Dominion Champion except maybe some cws that got it after mod 4 lanch,is worthy for me.Especially any melee DChampion is worthy 2 times for me cause he killed 40 triples personally and close. While as ranged migt aswell farmed and stalked the enemy toons. You are plain wrong here.
But so, there are players with 14-16k gs who are even worse.
Do you guys are really so closed-minded that u think, you can measure balance and matchup dynamics with looking at games where one side is outmatched by skill, spec, gear?
Highly irrelevant .Actually he was outnatched by gs and numbers.Pretending that any toon can evade 3 toons while the same time fighting them is normal makes you to lose all your credibility.
Ofc I kill with my 21k gs HR any semi-expirienced players, no matter their gear score. But so do I with my 21k gwf, my 20k CW and so on.
You can only evaluate balance and imbalance by looking at situations with close to equal skill, gear and optimal pvp spec and considering the fact, that this game is currently a 5vs5. If you are not able to do that, ur feedback about pvp is just worthless.
Your generalizations is beyond measaure. So every time someone loses to a hr 3 vs 1,then he cannot say anything cause " he might not had the optimal pvp spec or he was not skilled enough"Well maybe who knows man :0.maybe the 6 encounters double weapons stealth, self healing op wearing sets ,80feet prone, unmitigated damage ,dot damaging Hr ,might have more skill than 3 others!!!Woaou...I had not thought it like this!man you opened my eyes!!I will spread the word!!!!HRs are the victims !!they are not OP!!And everytime a HR will troll three dominion champions per infinitum it is not because HR is op but because the 3 dominion champiuons were worthless!!Thanx man!!
HRs are too strong right now. But they are not as strong as many of you think they are. You have just faced a superior player maybe. But thats hard to realize and accept.
hard to realize and acept is you that you play an obviously broken class.
Don't know about overall balance, i just started pvping with my newbie HR alt. Didn't even mess much with setup, made my build and went for combat (i like melee). Marauder rush+bull+fox is exceptionally easy to land and the damage is pretty good.
Main weakness are cws, since they can cc a lot and burst, but still self heal is amazing. At pug level that is. Fun to play btw, with switch from ranged to melee.

You might want to actually roll an HR and then edit this list.
You might want to actually roll an HR and then edit this list.
It's simply a list of positive traits which can be made with any class. The only difference being the HR has better and more efficient synergy amongst those different traits than others.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

HR has major advantages with healing each time they deflect, but all classes can utilize deflection and hp gain.
It is hard to defeat them with glyphs, but without glyphs it's not so hard.
HR is fine.
