how do you skip cut scenes?

esc seems to work in most games. not here.

    If esc isn't working then I think you are stuck watching it , if there is a way to skip cutscenes other than esc I'd like to know too because the beginning of Dread legion skirmish is so annoying if you take more than a few seconds to load in because you load in then have to watch the stupid scene with the bad guy raising the zombies , a way to skip that would make me happy.

    Most cutscenes in party content actually "freeze" the instance (that's why you don't die if a cutscene starts when you are getting beaten by a dozen mobs), so there is no way to skip them (and even if you could, you'd be unable to do anything unless everyone decides to skip).

    The only types of cutscenes you can Escape are transitional ones (like the Chasm warps) or Zone intros.

    It does't bother me in Neverwinter because the cutscenes are really short (what: about 3 or 4 seconds?) and used to highlight the boss. It's useful to know you are approaching a boss lair (gives time to suck-up all those bonus potions) - and I'm not sure I'd classify those as "traditional" cutscenes.

    All other cutscenes - even in Neverwinter - can be interrupted with the escape key; for example all the cut scenes at the beginning of the tutorial. I am pretty sure that any cutscene that lasts longer than 5 seconds can be aborted, even in Neverwinter. (And it's true in all Cryptic games that game-play is immediately paused and frozen during a cutscene).

    Esc doesn't work when Phantasmal Fortress sends you to Thay.

    I'd really like to be able to skip out of boss cutscenes I've already seen a hundred times. They get old pretty fast with the Dread Ring lairs, running them on multiple characters.

    You can hit escape to get past the cutscenes in GG and maybe other things like that. Boss cutscenes can't be skipped even in Quickling Den if you've already killed the boss. (I love doing that) Unfortunately, I don't think you can skip the newish transition from the Moonstone Mask, which is annoying.

    Have you tried space bar? That works in STO so it may in never winter.

    I don't need the same boss highlighted dozens of times if I'm farming dread legion vanguard strips

    mash space bar a few times, can't skip all cutscenes though (boss endings for instance).
