Arcane Coffer Bug - Missing Item

So i was running on my Cleric today and did Dread Spire. I had an adamantine gauntlet.
Opened the Coffer, and saw an eye of lathander. Tried to take it, but it didn't appear in chat log and when i checked my inventory it wasn't there.

Help!

This is my first artifact that i found in this game, and it really sucks to have it vanish.

Press C. It usually goes directly onto your character. I am guessing that it's already in a slot.

Alternatively, if you were looting that coffer at the same time as somebody else, then they picked it up and you got nothing. That is a known issue with the coffers and the only current solution for it is to be sure to take turns opening it.

Edit: By first artifact found, are you not counting the one from the quest Knox sends you on, or did you miss that quest?

I meant first artifact actually found in a chest :P (Sorry wasn't being clear about that)

But yes, i only found out about that issue after the item vanished.

I opened the chest, stared at it for a little and tried to take a screenshot because i was excited about getting it, then...it vanished.

Oh bums! Sympathy then, how annoying. I'd have loved that to be the answer, so you'd be able to trundle off with your new artifact
