Are the devs blind? Tenebrous enchants are gamebreaking

I am going to assume that devs never tested a single thing on this game. A player with 6-7 greater tenebrous enchants with around 25,000hp can get all of them to proc for a total of 5,000 damage AND it only has a 5second internal cooldown. This huge balance patch didn't even address one of the most gamebreaking element in pvp. Get ready for 20v20 greater tenebrous fights, I bet you these greedy fks are just hoping we all spend our AD on greater tenebrous enchants and then give them the nerf bat last minute. Pathetic company.

No no no, you're supposed to counter that OP HAMSTER with your OP perfect soulforged enchants!

5000 damage every 5 seconds is not game breaking... and your post is extremely negative towards the people making the game.

Considering how front loaded tenebrous is in pvp? An extra 5k is pretty amazing.

Imagine if they were about to release a raid with a substantial pvp portion. Oh wait...

There is absolutely no parity in the enchant system atm other then lots of enchants being equally ****.

Yes a very strange oversight, that is probably the biggest problem in pvp atm, gameplay wise at least.

Yes and these people lose on %crit ArmorPen Power etc etc. It should be seriously tested that if u get these enchants then you gain such a huge advantage. You gain something but you lose something so unless there will be someone with these enchants and then someone with normal gems we can look on numbers and say which one is more OP.

There is truth in numbers my friend..

MY angry little friend. Give them a break they are working there asses off and to see this HUGE patch about to be implemented is just amazing work. Just because its not in the patch notes doesn't mean its not being addressed. Just relax and don't insult a company while asking them to fix something. There is a reason why the people who posted good helpful suggestions got there suggestions featured in the patch notes. Whining and complaining will never bring results just more frustration.

you dont need numbers to see that a gf 3 shotting people while keeping them knocked on their *** is OP.

And there is no combination of enchants that lets you do an extra 4-5k over 5 seconds that does not include tenebrous.

And they can do it even faster with Tenebrous. I'm not sure how your comment is supposed to refute the need to change Tenebrous?

I mean, if I used 6 normal Tenebrous I could probably do ~30k with just an encounter and daily. If the target survives that and tries to run away, ~3 seconds later my weapon enhancement dot procs another round of Tenebrous again and the target falls over.

Something crazy is up with CW's. Some have I have encountered are ridiculously over powered either with shields that never seem to break, or with a CC and one shotting you down like nothing.

All the good pvpers use Greater teneb enchants in their offense slots. It simply outclasses any other offense enchants in pvp. I don't see it as gamebreaking though because they are a lot less useful in PvE. An enchant that is great to use for only 1 aspect of the game sounds fine to me.

They are doing a great job fixing up the game, 1.5 hours and we got all those updates? Keep it up Cryptic. You should have put a suggestion to fix this instead of calling the company garbage, get out.

They can bug their shield to never go on CD. Had one in Karrundax who could break their shield non stop.

Tenebrous can go into any offensive slot. And that's the reson why slot type is the number one factor for gears. On some slots (like belt slot) ppl even use blue gear instead of purple just to get that extra offensive slot.

So to answer your question: Yes, people can stack 7 tenebrous with no problem if they have the AD for them.

Don't most people have PvP gear and PvE gear anyway?

tenebrous is funny as hell on a cleric. I use brand of the sun, forgemaster, and break their spirit on a low health target and they as I walk away.

It's not like Tenebrous is awful in PVE. Not to mention you can still get ~1600+ arp with tenebrous in all your offensive slots.

Ah I see my mistake thought it was an armor/weapon enchant never realised they could be placed in any offensive slot.

Tenebrous is just an offensive slot only enchant. It's not a weapon enchant.

Tenebrous is also the best enchant in PvE.

You can have 7 of them as rogue.

PvE gear is the best PvP gear.

Plaguefire's defense debuff is also too strong, while soulforged could use a much longer cooldown.

Getting full Greater version of these aforementioned enchants(+vorpal) should not be the endgame.

And TRs can't 100-0 a player from stealth with or without the enchant? How about a CW, they can't 100-0 a player while CCing them? DC's still have their shield for pvp and you're still going to complain that they're OP even after the stacking and duration nerf.

My guess is you're a GWF as you can't 100-0 a player easymode like every other class, or are you going to say they can heal themselves for insane hp with an attack that also damages you, and that they have several tools to close the distance and pound your face into the ground?

Wait until the rebalance patch. GWFs will be one-shotting people. So will DPS spec Clerics. They got buffed, all other classes/specs got nerfed (not counting GFs getting their "tankiness" buffed, as that was mostly increased Guard and threat).

Oddly enough, Tenebrous enchants are kind of broken. On my TR I can proc them relentlessly, on my CW, I've had them proc exactly 5 times. I am thinking about ditching them for Holy Avenger + Radiants.
