I'm only L20 in the game and i have done some PvP. Now the PvP weapons/gear are a higher level and you might get much more "Honor" i belive at those levels.
But as i see now for a single dominion match i'm geting 9 points then i look at the cost for weapons/ gear 30/40k +
then i go to myself thats why you have a AFK problem no one wants to have there will broken after seeing these costs.

As long as there is any reward for a loss in PvP, intentional losses will be exploited because they are easier to obtain than wins.
But if they made the rewards reasonable to get not ball busting time consuming people might just start playing PvP for fun because you know you wont be fighting in 5v5 in the same 2 arenas 10k times.

While I understand your reasoning some people just run pvp for the dailies for the AD and to get glory to buy the pvp set etc. If you make it so the losing team/peeps get 0 glory I suspect you will see a big drop in pvp participation.
Mght make better matches for those that pvp just for fun or might just make the queues really really long. I suspect the latter.
Just report spam or add them to your ignore when you see someone afk and do some 'vigilantee' justice by silencing them from everywhere for 24 hours.Apparently PWE has given us the power to render people unable to play anything exept single-player.

Or when you get a bot just have the leader kick it from party! When its the other team well... enjoy the easy win or quit n regroup.
I would sugest that the losing team gets nothing and the winning team gets double glorry points, no more afk in pvp etc...(and u gotta win SOME time right? ---> double glorry) maybe make the daily reward "win a pvp match" to get people engaged in it,i understand some people dont like pvp i really do, but when u enter u should at least TRY to teamplay etc instead of going afk and being a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> to ure fellow teammates?...Also make the glorry items Bind to ure account so they cannot be sold (i exualy dont know if they can be sold atm i dont have any glorry items yet, but if they can be sold it wouldent suprise me why people go afk then...)
If u remove the farm aspect of afking u instantly UP the fun of pvp i think, and pvp wel it aint that great in this game i think we can all admit that (pvp lovers/haters) but it sure is a change compared to standard monster assaults that look the same everytime, i like some spice in my entertainment, and a qaulity 5vs5 with everybody going for the win is a good flavor imo.

Are they going to have larger scale PvP maps? like 10v10 or 20v20? If they do it should help because having a few afk on a 20 man team isnt a death sentence for the team like it is now and youd (hopefully) have more people reporting them.

While I enjoy the pvp somewhat I do it for the dailies and that is all, on my TR I do it for the dailies and for glory points (as it seem much easier to get glory on my TR than my GF) but if "winning" was a requirement to complete the dailies I would simple not queue for pvp anymore.
I already do not do all the dailies as it is too time consuming, I tend to do the pvp and skirmish dailies. If they did what you proposed I would just do the skirmish and foundry daily and skip pvp altogether. Now this does not mean I do not try win but pvp is already painful as it is for me lol.
One match your creaming the floor with the other team next match your getting creamed. Plus in queues peeps have a hard time saying anything in party chat other than to ***** and moan when they are losing and how it's all everyone else fault but them. Also catch the flag type pvp is just boringggggg.

Yesterday i ran 8 pit fight skirmishes in a row, i needed the daily = 3 fights and i ended up doing 8 because i made my own group and we kept losing/gaining people that needed more fights done so i ended up leading 8 matches into the pit (i was playing my GWF, and skirmishes are like BAZOOKA time for a gwf xD) what i basicly wanna say, if u dont enjoy pvp u shouldent be running it even know just for AD , i take it like a change in scenery and a minigame and challenge myself with it(aldo it is VERYYYY team dependant cant be ignored ) i always laugh when i hold a point vs 4 enemy's with my GWF alone for 3 min even if i lose i always have some great moments i enjoy durring a pvp session...
