Wizards Folly quest path marker error

In the quest Wizards folly when you go into Taulo's house the quest marker points back to the door you just came in. This isn't a bug where the quest marker path is confused since if you run around and do the quest even when you come to the next area or progress the steps the quest path always takes you back to the exit door.

    I have also experienced this problem. I have submitted a bug report and attempted to contact a GM concerning this to no avail. This quest is the only one I have available in the three zones I am allowed to enter. This being the case, the game has become no longer playable for me.

    Ah, I remember being confused about this the first time I did this quest line. There's an NPC upstairs you need to talk to, and he'll open the upstairs door so you can progress. Because he's hiding when you first go up, he's easy to miss.
