Where have all the PWE and ARC cards gone?

nuclearninja1nuclearninja1 Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 64 Arc User
I have been looking for the prepaid cards for a while now. Stores where I used to buy them haven't had any since
Christmas. They can't even order them, because the supplier doesn't even have them listed. These are not small
stores(Walmart, Best Buy and Game Stop). No one can get any. Is there a problem with distribution or are they not made anymore? I don't have a credit card, so buying online is out. Is there another way to buy Zen? I'm doing daily
ARC log in, but it takes 2-3 months to get 500 Zen. Help.

I also noticed this. Back when the zen store was filled with new and exciting items...

... I would buy those cards while standing in line at a drug store sometimes.
If getting more then $20 usually More economical to buy zen online because of the bonus zen though.

My local Walmart and GameStop both have the Arc cards stocked as of last week when I was there. Not sure what the issue is with your locations.

Yep, there is a Wal-Mart near me that has tons of them, at least 20-40 last time I looked. Makes me wonder if the distribution center in Washington Court House had lots of them, assuming they supply all of Ohio that is.

i live in ohio, 2 local walmarts in my area dont sell them, they even phase out Sony/Daybreak, all i see are more asian junks where we never heard of those games, they sell mostly for Xbox, Playstation, and some wierd "Date Sim" cards.

cant understand why spend on cyber sim date game when you could use some cash for real "Go Out for Dates" to meet possible soulmate when the game make you go broke and stay home. not fond of online date game, and you could be "cat-fished".

I live in Ohio. Walmart has them here in my city. They did move them to a different rack a couple months ago, but they are still there.

In all three Wal-Marts in my city (SW Florida), they moved the game time cards from the pre-paid/gift cards display they have up front by the registers back into the Electronics Department near the PC Games selection.

They have them here in Naples fl. Nice to know a fellow neverwinterian is close by @zebular small world. If you can't get them buy a prepaid visa and hit the online zen purchase route.

Nice, I'm just about an hour or so north of Naples, out by Deep Creek/Harbor Heights.

The ones in Springfield and London Ohio have never had them in the front of the store, they have always been in the back of the store in the electronics department. Now the one store in Springfield does have a problem with them being returned used, and put back out onto the shelf, but that is another issue.

if the cards been used and scratch off, they cant be return, if you got bad card, call the card manifactory rep if you think you pick up bad card, they will check the code if that was entered or not, stores cant.
it is lot safer to use zen market

No, it is how Wal-Mart prints on their receipts that causes the issue. They print the numbers underneath the scratch off part on the receipt, so no need to actually scratch them off. Which is a big problem. And not to mention that the cards themselves say they are not able to be returned, but that still does not stop it from happening.

Which may also explain why maybe stores can not get them anymore, if the company has been told what is happening with the receipts.

Just get a Western Union pre-paid card.. cryptic/arc has always accepted them no hassles, and easy as heck to charge up.. any Walgreens will charge them and so will most any other places that do pre-paids
