WoD - Suggestion: Scaling Rewards to HE's similar to Icewind Dale

I really enjoy WoD, despite the slowest drop of Dragon Hoard currency and largest grind for Campaign Boons, as I fully enjoy the multitude of HEs and variation of them as well. Icewind Dale campaign seemed to take the WoD HEs and improve them by offering scaling rewards based upon HE difficulty. While the Dragon HEs in WoD offer better rewards, the standard (grey hp bar) to high level (gold hp bar) HEs offer linear and parallel rewards. There are several, I believe three (3), high level HEs (mobs with gold level bars), but there is no incentive really to pursue them because you get the same rewards from the lower level HEs.

It is really a simple suggestion and improvement, and that is to mimic the scaling rewards based on difficulty for the HEs in Icewind Dale to WoD. Offering scaling rewards, similarly to Icewind Dale, within WoD will incentivize players to engage in higher level HEs within the map. I realize the the campaign items and assets are not as versatile and voluminous as Icewind Dale, as the latter incorporates professions as part of the campaign. However, a simple means to improve the higher level HE rewards is to add the opportunity to acquire Dragon's Hoard currency (not just the coins), double the enchantment returns to include other enchantments as well. Similarly to Icewind Dale, when you dispatch members of the mob in the high level HE's afford a chance for a Draconic Enchantment, rank 5 drop, just like Icewind Dale drops Black Ice Enchantments. Maybe also a chance at the special stones as well, or even Linu Favors considering the grind to acquire the 80 you need is absolutely exhausting.

If I recall correctly, WoD has 5 different major HEs, a different one possible at each dragon herald's landing pad. They spawn at fixed times, and each instance may only have two of them active at once, so there's some randomization. I'm not sure what kind of regulator the minor HEs are on but there can be many of them active at a time.

The major HEs can drop artifact cloaks, but as running these HEs is far from the most efficient way to obtain those these days, a tweak to the loot tables would likely be welcome. I believe you don't get notably better rewards for major HEs than the minor HEs in WoD otherwise (R5, coins, and maybe a coffer and/or potion).

But I never make it into this zone anymore, so anybody correct me if I am wrong.

Exactly my point, and notwithstanding the Dragon Heralds, which offer a great deal more rewards respectively than the various HEs, low and high level.

As I also noticed that the Dragon Herald rewards include Resonance Stones, that would be a nice addition to the drop tables for the high and medium level standard HEs, meaning non-demonic and not Dragon Herald.

As earlier mentioned, something that gradually increases based on difficultly similarly to the rewards garnered by participating and completing HEs in Icewind Dale.

To the knowledge from this end major HE's increase in difficulty depending on how many players are present in the area surrounding the HE, as more players enter the area the difficulty increase (bronze > silver > gold and each seems to increase the capacity/quality of rewards.

I buy a dragon burger to help you earn your rich hamster title. o:)

They once did that in Icewind Pass with Aqua's dropping in HE's and the instances will being overrun with players in massive waves running one HE after the other for simple a single Aqua per HE. If that doesn't show the imbalance in the game and for most to be able to earn some stones I certainly don't know what will? Yet still that benefit was axed several weeks after being implemented...

I'd like to see a few more Aqua's or even Saphire's droping from mini bosses or bosses more often as well as epic chests. It's sad when you spend 5k of refined diamonds to come out with 2k salvage you still have to refine and nothing else. :'(
