I'm sorry if something like this has already been suggested, but I don't have time to go through all the pages of the "Dungeon Key and Useful Items for Preview" thread, so I make a separate one.
When you're forced in the future to use a dungeon key, it'd be nice if you can actually choose the item you used the key for.
What do I mean by that?
In the dungeons like Epic Temple of the Spider, Epic Grey Wolf Den, Lair of Lostmauth ... when you open the chest and RNG gives you a ring, you can choose between 2 available rings via a radio button. If RNG gives you an armor piece, you can choose which one, etc.
I'd be nice, if something similar was implemented for all the remaining chests. From the top of my head:
- (Epic) Demogorgon
- Prophecy of Madness
- Throne of the Dwarven Gods
- Castle Never
- Fangbreaker Island
- Svardborg
Take for example Castle Never. In the dungeon chest at the end there is always (as far as I'v seen) a ring. Which one (Lifesteal, Crit, ...), is completely random. The rarity (+1 - +5) is random as well. I'd like to eliminate the "which one" randomness. RNG determines the rarity - say +2. But you can actually choose which +2 ring you want. With a radio button just like in the chest at the end of i.e. Lair of Lostmauth.
I mean, what good is a legendary +5 ring from Castle Never, if it's a ring you don't actually need?! It's a wasted key.
I hope I got my idea across.

Frankly, I agree that there are too many useless bullhamster types of rings that not a soul wants to see cluttering up the loot table and reducing the odds of receiving something decent. I feel the solution is to weight these lower, or simply phase them out. Variety is not interesting when most of it is useless.
