the 2 slayer amulet's i have used on a few chars (sense mod 3) are now (bound to my new char ) made aprox 2 weeks ago one on char and one for pet are now char bound not acct bound did i miss somthing ?

Did you put bound enchants into them? That will bind items to character that were previously account-bound. Greycloak enchant would do it, for example.
