So, what is my argument? My argument is this:
If there is no challenging content for players to work towards, then elitist, money-hungry $$$-investing-for-high-end-gear players simply pick up and leave.

    There, fix'd.
We already see that elitist players do not want to stick around with the lower level players. Chats are filled with "HDPS" requirements, making anyone who plays casually to leave in a short manner of days.
"High-end-content" shouldn't just be there to forever climb, at some point you want to stop and see where you're going and what you've achieved thus far.
Crafting should be more encouraged, rather then people farming 1000+ times to get that "one +5 ring", to get so bored of CN and skirmishes (out of which some are broken in the first phase btw) and to never even look at helping those who're just not having enough dps to pass through safely. And even when they finally, somehow, pass one of the dungeons without 30th wipe, they still have a high chance to get absolutely nothing in particular other then... what, refining a 3K raid armor?
So, no, game is unimaginably hard for new players and this game is already super-elitist and end-game content oriented to the fullest. That needs to stop, so I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement that's nothing short of what an elitist would state.
For your information Sharandar, Dread Ring and other areas already raised their cap, whilst punishing those who levelup from 60 to 70 by reducing their overall power. My nephew needs 3 times more effort to beat something now, and it doesn't make the game "fun" in any way at that point.

Or as I saw it - Ermaghed, I beat CN aloun, Crypticz pls buff teh game. Just go play something else then, from 0.
