Was there a change to Coalescent Ward drops from prayer coffers?

I personally have experienced, and have spoken to multiple other players who agree, a decrease in the drop rate of Coalescent Wards from the invoking coffers. I used to rely on getting 1 every 20-40 coffers I opened. Now I get none, as in for multiple times I've opened that many coffers. Everyone I talk to gives me the same feedback that they aren't getting any coalescent wards from their coffers any more.

Now this could be simply poor RNG for all of us, in which case it will right itself in a week or two. However, it is interesting that we all notice these changes shortly after coalescent wards were removed from the tarmalune trade bar store. Now, not to go all conspiracy theory here, as I said it could be a bad run for a lot of us. However, I would be very disappointed to find this was done in combination with the tarmalune changes to force more purchases.

If any devs would like to give feedback it would be much appreciated. If any players are experiencing the same issue feel free to throw down a +1.

I have experienced perma decreased drop rate of coal wards.I have 8 toons who invoke daily and so far in around 3 years of playing I got 3 or maybe 4 coals.so,nop,no change for me.

It is still just random, one week you get 2 Coals in a row, and the next couple weeks you won't see even a single Pres drop from them.

I hope those of you who aren't getting any wards or have never gotten any wards are actually saving them up and opening them all at once. You surely aren't opening them one at a time. That's a guarantee that you won't ever get one. RNG is only in your favor when you open multiples at once, and as many as possible.

with 8 characters i used to get 1 coal every 2 weeks (not always but kinda steadily), cant say for sure but i opened something around 12 boxes and got none. i have the feeling but its too early to claim stuffs. I assume you have 50 characters so maybe you can already state facts.

12 characters, and i stack at least 11 coffers. As mentioned above, i got sometimes 2 Coals in one week, and then not even a Pres in several weeks.
I also tried it once with 20+ coffers, but nothing good came from that, therefore i went back to 11.

I tried it in in stacks of 5,10,50..even tried it on on different characters cause I thought that some of my toons have
better luck than others. but,nah,no luck at all.I think I got my last coal around 6-7 months ago.

With the rework to invoking coffers in Mod 6 I initially got 1 Coal Ward every 20 coffers or so - opening in stacks of 5 - but over the weekend I got my first Coal Ward in over 2 months. If there was a reduction in drop-rate it happened before tradebar nerf because it was the longest stretch I had gone without a Coal Ward from invoking coffers.

Probably more people will now pay a little more attention to their coffer loot after the Trade Bare Store update...

I have gotten 4 coal wards in over 18 months of playing--including one in the last week. It's hard to stack them on three characters. I don't have time to invoke on 20 for a game.

I open one-at-a-time. Got two just last week and one the week before.

The fact, that there was no announcement, is without significance. This 'adjustments' NEVER get announced and just if ppl get really pissed someone bothers to give an answer.

Confirmed examples are dragon hoard nerf and droprates from medium+ HEs in Stronghold. First one was a deliberate nerf, that got confirmed a few weeks later and the second ones was supposed to be a glich due to the fix of the influence bug, that 'will be fixed with the next patch' half a year ago...

Furthermore I think, that they 'fixed' the droprate of superior marks from the DR dungeons. While I got some in the first weeks after the introduction of superior marks, I did get ZERO of them in the last months. I talked to other players, who had the same 'change uf luck'.

I generally get a few coal wards per hundred coffers, which I generally start to open in batches of 10-15 and spam-open in bulk when the drops in a batch are good (high proportion of purple marks and/or wards).

My husband gets coal wards all the time. So apparently he is hogging most of the drops.

I opened 20 and got two last double rp, it's really not worth getting worked up over. You're either going to get one or not. That won't change even if the rate was changed.

Dropped one last time per 11-15 coffers (dont remember) after change. Im at 8 coffers atm so few more and will check again.

Historically I have had terrible RNG on any of the coffers... ironically I got one the first one I opened after they were removed from the TB store.

It seems many people have that experience. People never got before but got the first one right after they were removed from the TB store.
I personally have been lucky. It did not come out from the invocation chest as frequent as before but I did get 2 during last 2xRP.

my CW just had a c ward 3 weeks ago, it is long run since last pulled a c ward was 10 months ago on my main.
still awful RNG, and i am running 5 alts.

Perhaps there should be.... would be nice to have these show up more than once in a leapyear

Perhaps there should but I don't think they are not going to decide on any changes until they completely evaluate the effect removing them from the TB store has had.
