dodging as hr is not as simple as it sounds.

HR movement is pretty lame. That skip/dodge move, moves you like 3 feet and it's clunky.
I'd expect more dexterity from a char with a dex of almost 30. Looks like an old guy trying to dance and you expect them to fall over.

add to that a classic european/australian ping of 300-350 ms and here you are...playing without dodge. i would rather have sprint... like ye...gimme sprint

HR movement was pretty sick in Mods 2 and 3 with the 4-piece set bonus. My Combat HR feels more like a dwarf these days when it comes to movement or rather, lack thereof.
    Our pain is self chosen.

Or make them jump, or leap even...like it's done in Dragon Age Inquisition. Now that's one spectacular dodge right there!
The skill's called "Evade" and it suits a HR much better than what they have now.

There are few class specific mechanics there that I would really like to have implemented in Neverwinter (GF's guard <3 )

1). Is SW more dps or tank based?
    2). Yes. I am panzer!

Let's just hope that if the devs implemented Leap, it would be less buggy than the DAI version. I lost count of how many times my inquisitor backflipped off a tiny rock and flew high straight off an edge to her demise more than 100 feet away. :o

Anyway, I agree. The HR dodge is a bit clunky at times, but I feel the same way about the SW's shadow slip that seems to need a second to really get going or when GF/OP raises shield and nothing happens. DCs and TRs have the most responsive dodge mechanics in the game, I think.

The HR dodge immunity frame could definitely be a bit longer.

That's another reason why I was ***really** upset when they nerfed the movement rate curve with mod 6. HR's rely on mobility -- it's even in our class description.

My archer Stormwarden HR is 3.89k IL, all R12's, 20.3k defense, and she STILL can't solo any of the WoD lairs. Now that is 'effed up.
