NPCs not attacking

angelsagentangelsagent Member Posts: 2 Arc User
I have a crazy problem. Suddenly the NPCs are not attacking my chars. I can literally ride the entire maps and they just ignore me unless I attack them first. I have literally had them walk right through me with no action. Support tells me to submit a bug ticket (done, with no response) This may seem like an enviable problem but it is ruining the gameplay and makes completing some quests impossible. Should I unintall and reinstall? Am I missing something? Support has been worthless so far. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix this?

For one, this should be in Bug Reports subforum.

Give us details: level of your character, which maps you are being ignored on.

Go to Dread Ring, Sharandar, Icewind Dale or Well of Dragons, ride again through a group of enemies, and then report back.

    Because it sends a message!

Mobs stop aggroing to you if you are 7+ levels higher than they are.

It could be that he is riding through maps that are more than 3 levels below him and being ignored as "too powerful to attack."

As others have suggested, please tell us what level your character is and what level the mobs are that are "ignorning" you. Also, if you attack them, do they attack you back? More than likely, you're just too high level and as such, they won't aggro you for vicinity, until you do something that initiates their aggro.
