He comes from a Xindi Lockbox and is immediately Bound to Character on open. That's why you don't see him on the Exchange.

Gumarre was given to Characters that had leveled and created Aegis items in Crafting 1.0 when they introduced Crafting 2.0. He was also automatically given to Delta Recruits and Temporal Recruits when they completed the first stage of their crafting assignments.
Gumarre is also availible as a random drop from the Crafting Assistance assignment from your Academy Personal Officer. Be aware, it is a pretty rare drop. On one Character it took almost 75 runs to get him.

Supposedly he was added as a possible lucky draw to 'some' of the academy recruitment missions and/or one of the super-rare options in 'some' of the doff packs.

It took me roughly 18 months of doing that blasted mission every 4 days to get Gumarre. I'm not about to do the math, but needless to say, I wasted a lot of Dil and have the crafting mats to prove it.
It'd be nice if they made him just a bit more of a common drop from the R&D mish.
Hello. My name is iamynaught and I am an altaholic.
Is this doff to craft a certain item of the Agis set.......... if so, isnt there any better options than getting that set?
Cant you just get lucky and craft a MK2 normal pieces, then get lucky upgrading....... for instance, i got one of those expensive warp cores from fleet.
The next day i crafted a Dueterium Warp Core that preforms much better and got Epic at MK6
He's the doff you need to craft any of the Aegis set. Jefferson was/is the purple equivalent.
Amphibious. It came out the same day as Season 9.5 that introduced Crafting 2.0. The Xindi Doffs that came out of that box had crafting Schools assigned and covered everything except for Aegis equipment. The Professor provided that. He probably dropped directly from the Box.
