Summer 2017 might be the best event ever.
Every time I look at a tac boff on an away team I wish they could run with a graviton spike. I wonder if the price of favors has spiked yet....

Actually, I doubt I would use the Eng abilities. There are better abilities out there, but I might just for the fun of it. I can see people spamming the Tac and Sci abilities. Luckily, only the NPCs get end of that stick. lol Nimbus, VBZ, and the Kobali Battlezone might see some lag with all these abilities being released.

I am still wishing that during the summer an winter events they would allow us to buy part packs that could be used to customize the seasonal ships we get. That is one of the few reasons I do not use the seasonal ships more is the lack of design customization options like other vessels.
No need for more T6 Admiralty cards?

I love the Vorgon carrier, "I must have this!" was my genuine reaction when I first saw it in Vorgon conclusions.
You may be frustrated by not having your preferences met, but please don't stomp on the things other people enjoy because of that (this thing's also in the Foundry, it's a beauty.)

The buff to hangar pets makes them a particularly attractive option now. I've been using the Vonph lately and I'd definitely like to have more access to carriers across my characters (so I can play around with the class a bit more, last time I ventured into carriers was back when our choices were Solonae/Atrox/Vo'quv).

Or better yet, a T6 Risian Luxury Cruiser with a functional interior featuring my own personal island.
I prefer a cruiser. It's been awhile since we had cruiser from an event. Granted the last event carrier was the T6 Breen Sarr Theln carrier from the 2014 Winter Event, while the T6 Kobali Samsar cruiser was from the 2015 Anniversary Event.
I am fairly positive it can use the frigate pets if you have the escort from last year, they did the same with the Breen ships. The carrier can use plesh'bek frigates if you own both

The training manuals are meh. The pets I might get if I have room. Even more floater color choices...no thanks, until they enable them on other maps. Powerboards, never.
Will have to see if the new clothes are infected with the risan clothes plague (=map-restriction).
Will also have to see if the new event has some stupid flags to pick again or if it's actually playable.
Same here. The Nandi is actually one of my favorite builds. Not necessarily best (though good), but favorite. And the Sarr Theln is still my Rom Sci's go to ship, even though now there are decent alternatives.
His backstory is, him and his resistance cell found a derlict space frame and retro fitted it with whatever tech they could find to continue the fight once the Cardassians left. When the Iconians attacked, they "joined" Starfleet.
This crew uses a JHAS (T-5U) with Vaadwaur polarons, Jem'Hadar groud weapons and a corrosive grenade. Would love to be able to fit the Boff's with those corrosive grenades too, would fit into this characters RP perfectly.
Plus I have a Ferengi Character that needs a Powerboard, RoA and all the summery shinies since he was made right after he winter event and doesn't have any,...

In fact, given the disparity in available, not to speak of usable, carrier-centric ship traits compared to that of other ship classes, they should make every summer event carriers from now on until the game shuts down.

I guess I'll start my next characters so they have the Summer Store Unlocked... Maybe.
I'm wondering if the summer event will also provide current hangar pets with engines suitable for the job instead of the clockwork motors they have the now.
