Fleet Guramba

Sooo...

What's the deal with this one?

We've been told it's "coming" for (quite literally) years now. Any updates on it? I can't imagine that it's too time consuming of a ship to release for them, considering it's literally just changing 2 modifiers (shields, hull) and slapping an extra console on. Maybe the Fleet skin material takes a little bit longer? Doubt it's years worth of work, though.

Any updates on the Fleet Guramba Cryptic? Or a Fleet D'Kyr, for that matter?

    They already made 2 versions of it, but they weren't satisfied with the outcome and didn't release it, they outsourced the 3rd version to be made by Valve.

    It's will come eventually. Alongside some other Fed and Romulan ship of near-equivalent (or not) status.

    Maybe the Patrol Escort and... I don't know; maybe a T6 Ha'Feh Assault Warbird?

    Because the Devs themselves stated that it was more convenient to release bundles of popular or most-wanted ships, piggybacking off the Feds who do have some active Rom/KDF alts. Not to mention, they did just that with the Negh, which was also in development hell for awhile.

    Fleet Guramba is a good running joke to use against Cryptic. I used to say the Fleet Guramba will arrive when the Revamped Negh'Var would arrive. The Revamped Negh'Var took years but it actually, finally did come. Meanwhile, the Fleet Goomba is nowhere in sight.

    Even without a fleet version, a T5-U Gumby is still a nice ride... Just saying...

    A decent T6 version might be enough to dust of my old Orion Tac for a weekend...

    I'd just like to go head-head w/a fleet version. I don't even really play KDF, but a rommy vs a fleet Guramba would be fun. I used to love fighting that ship.

    I used to want this; now I no longer care.
    The Guramba is outdated junk. You need to switch to 'siege mode' to get your +15 weapon bonus while many Klingon escorts give that 'free'. The Javelin is a worthless weapon; doesn't have any power and forces you out of siege mode, which is a pain. It also uses Klingon bridges as a Nausicaan one doesn't exist. That also feels so wrong.
    Best to leave this ship buried.

    The Javelin is quite good still. Unlike the Galaxy-X Phaser Lance, it has half the cooldown. Unlike the Post Goomba/Gal-X ships that have "Lance" weapons, the Javelin is built in and does not require the sacrifice of a valuable console slot. And with the T6 Treatment, it will shine once again.

    I want to add that until the Feds started showing up with those 5 TAC Fleet Defiants, Prometheus when the fleet holdings were put in, the Guramba was wildly popular in the KDF. PVE, PVP, it didn't matter. Even now, the built in Javelin is a very nice and unique feature in endgame KDF ships.

    Well, if devs will release fleet or t6 Guramba, I'll be a happiest raider in the galaxy.

    If she will be absolutely useless obsolete piece of junk, I still wouldn't change this ship to any other, she's just the best for me, like the Enterprise for Kirk.

    Btw, it'll be nice to see a playable Talon battleship someday.
    And female nausicaans, of course.
    My universal translator works bad.
