After VIL the next focus really needs to be Klingon

Why? because the Empire needs to be overhauled.
Qo'noS is amap that's a mess.
the entire KDF playerbase wants more content
and finally, the KDF needs T6 ships. Specifically, a T6 Vor'cha, Karfi, Vo'Quv. I would also welcome a Varanus variant the KDF needs Science. and finally the only canon Klingon ship not in the game.. the K'Vort I's love to see her as a battlecruiser, but a Sci ship would be fine.
Storyline for the arc? Gorn insurrection, Return of the Fek'Ihri, attempted coup (House Duras tries to unseat J'mpok)

Everyone who is grinding for in-game advantages is moving over to Romulans.
There isn't going to BE anyone playing on Klingons TO fix this stuff up FOR.

Except for a few hold outs (like me).

None of these plots make any sense at all.

Many of the plots in Star Trek either don't make sense, or have holes large enough for both a Valkis and Universe to fly through simultaneously.

Honestly... the Fek'lhri would make sense during ViL if they follow up with the the mention of the Hur'q during the Fek'lhri arc.

The KDF doesn't "need" to be the next focus but I would be 100% behind them if it was their focus.

Not only that. They are small time ideas. We need BIG ideas. Like a full blown 12 episode Klingon Civil War.

they make perfect sense, two of them are a civil war, cryptic is not gonna spead 12 episode on klingons. and we know who would win a civil war and it wouldn't be the empire.

If you go by the numbers the faction with the least episodes it's is the Feds (14), then it's the KDF (15), then 23rd Century Feds (20), then the Roms (25).
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

...What? While they're not going to do it, how exactly does the empire not win a war involving its own people? The leader might change but the empire can't lose a war against the empire

Not a single word of that is true. Romulans? Lolwut? There romulan numbers are even smaller than the klingon ones

A Klingon Civil War would be pointless because there is no reason for it to happen.
Why do you say that? It sounds more you just don't like the idea which is fine. But you can just say that instead. All it would take is a couple of featured episodes to introduce a reason for a civil war.

A Gorn insurrection isn't a civil war. The Duras are finished. There would need to be another reason.

The Duras aren't finished. The entire Ja'rod arc seems to have been abandoned, though.

They're finished as villains, though. Ja'rod is apparently pretty intent on staying on the straight and narrow, so it's unlikely he'll be found plotting and scheming against the Empire the way a Duras normally would.

Kill J'mpok and we can see what Klingons do best, infighting. The Gorn take advantage to leave the Empire in the civil war that follows. The Fek'lhri desperate need a revamp

Klink civil war would be used by cryptic to finally nail the coffin lid shut on the KDF faction.

The fekhiri already returned once in the game so lets not convert them into another sela who turns up like a bad smell when someones looking for voice work.

Miral Paris the Kuvah'magh I think they should do a story arc on her. Maybe she is the only one who can save the klingon Empire maybe she is the reason Klingon's Later Join the Federation. It is worth exploring and I would like to see that happen.

So yes I do think they should focus on Klingons and the Kuvah'magh.

Because regardless of who survives the civil war, the Fedophiles win, with the Klingons burning lives, time, and resources in the hypothetical civil war.

Also, because Romulans will now be able to fly the majority of the T5, T5U, and T6 ships of the faction they aligned with. Along with the admiralty card bloat. There may be a spike in numbers for playing Romulans, but I don't think it'll be a super huge leap.

Wait...what's wrong with just using the Hur'Q if the objective is to buff the role of the KDF in STO? They're the Hur'Q!

Anyway for the thread: replay season 14. The intro is through the Lukari. The outro is through the Tzenkethi. The meat is Klingon. This isn't a season playing out exclusively to KDF sensibilities, it's bringing their role in the STO universe to the forefront. Ie. it's better because it's not just providing self-affirmation to one's faction choice but letting that shine through drama and character relationships in a wider universe (that everyone has access to.)

Yes, it would be nice if Qo'Nos was updated. But, I think Cryptic can do much better for the Klingons than simply giving them more intro arcs (that play to old sensibilities and familiar scenarios.) Let's, you know, go further with the opportunity afforded by this post TNG game.

Miral Paris the Kuvah'magh I think they should do a story arc on her. Maybe she is the only one who can save the klingon Empire maybe she is the reason Klingon's Later Join the Federation. It is worth exploring and I would like to see that happen.

    They already did. ;)

Miral as the Kuvah'magh is one of the major connecting arcs of the FED intro missions. Through B'vat's machinations (and defeat), she's ultimately credited with countering the augment virus in the 23c.

the problem is, cryptic's writing staff can't, and anything that draws attention away from their overall macro-plot of everyone coming together in a giant Federation ruled from Earth is not going to be given the green light anyway.

Brushfire is a good mission, you should play it. ;)

Yech. You need to show Thraak some fashion love. Might I suggest the Voth reputation Heavy Armor set, or finding a tailor/seamstress willing to stuff him into some Bortasqu' leather?
