So, I have heard that profession assets will be converted to new 'stuff'.
Will this be automatic on first log in after the new mod, or will it be when you first walk into your new profession 'shop', or do you have to tell it 'manually'?
Basically, will I have time to mail workers and tools around or should I have that done before mod 15 hits?
I have 20 level 70 characters, all with at least 3 professions at 20-25, but most are running 9 leadership tasks with 9 heros each.
Would it be more advantageous to spread my workers and tools around from the few characters that have many 'other' workers and tools, or keep the extra workers and tools consolidated on those few?
And what about resources? Are those going to be converted to some new 'stuff' also?
Should I spread things like my unified elements around or keep the 90+ I have on my alchemy alt that made them?
Also, what is going to happen to profession sub-boxes from old lockboxes?
Will they give the new currencies or whatever, or still give workers and tools that you can sell on the AH, send to an alt, or convert at our leisure?
DON'T

To answer your question more directly, this is taken from that thread: This doesn't sound like an automatic conversion to me, so we should be able to transfer our existing assets to give one character more or less stuff to trade in for that currency, and I wouldn't be surprised if we could transfer the new assets, either.
Still a lot to read in that other thread, though, so if I am off-base here then I may discover it as I read further.
Edit: I was off-base a little.
Conversion is automatic according to further reading, but the vouchers that you get can be mailed to your other characters.
The result is the same; Each of your characters will have as much or as little of a head-start as you choose to give them within the limit of the total amount of what obsolete crafting resources (the current resources) that they had when the change hits.
Might is not always right - the powerful sometimes forget that.
The Small BandWe might not be able to go to preview and test everything fully ourselves right now, and I know that that can go a long way towards helping people understand things, but there is a lot of information in that thread to help give us an idea of how things are going to be after the change.
And certainly enough info for me to answer the OP's question.
This is coming from someone with 20 maxed leadership toons that farmed it for all it’s worth. I realize this will massively nerf my income... but I still like the new system.
It’s bugged on preview - can’t get past the intro quest due to bug in collecting from the box, but I worked all the way up to level 3 workshop before the bugged patch a couple weeks ago. It will be a massive grind no doubt. However, the change will be a good change for the game overall, even if it will sort of suck for me personally.
It’s a huge gold sink, especially coupled with the fact that potions and skill kits will no longer drop from mobs. Gold will becomes useful for a change in M15, so hope you’re stockpiling it.... again, though: Good change. Gold needed to be valuable.

1. stock up gold
2. stock up potion
3. stock up VIP scrolls (I happened to have that idea last night too).
What is the best approach to deal with profession personnel and asset? Make them all purple? keep 4 blue instead? Buy more? Sell them ASAP?
My storage alt is level 4 for pure storage purpose, no invocation, no leadership. They stay in PE and only allows summer and winter travel vacation.
I am working my way thru the Q & A thread.
I am glad to see that gold will have more value soon.
I had been selling stacks of VIP scrolls, mostly just to keep room available in my bags.
I will have to check to see if the epic keys can be sold also, all my alts have over 1k of those that will never be used.

My question would be whether if I'm going to exchange guild marks for crafting mats (at the SH buildings, bloomery etc where I can buy the normal non MC mats many for 1 guild mark) is it best to do that before or after the release
10 minutes per day [as I have all the campaigns and boons done] in Neverwinter and maybe an hour or two at the weekend.
My other online time is spent pvping in a WW2 tank based game, totally absorbed by it.
BIG thanks to the DEV team for giving me very little reason to play NW I mean it
But a stack of 999 bound id scrolls will get you about 1.5 gold.
PANIC!
Those temporary buildings are the connection to guild marks, and I don't know anybody that has one on preview to test how they work in the new mod.
Basically the question I'm asking is:
Is it better to get 15 adamant ore per guild mark at the bloomery pre mod 15, trade them with the retainer and buy stuff, or am I better saving the guild marks and just buying the stuff at the bloomery post mod 15.
