That's true, but coming from someone who studies in IT and has 2 brothers in game dev, I can tell you that often these sort of problems are very technically and to put it simply: most people wouldn't understand much of what would be said if they did explain it. Rep system isn't broken for everyone. My projects finished just fine and I was able to start new ones.

Interesting. I'll keep that in mind next time I get disconnected. Though personally I've been on for about 20 minutes now so hopefully, for me anyway, the problem is resolved. Of course my knowledge of this stuff says otherwise, but I remain hopeful :)

Ok so both of my projects (romulan) that I was running have finished within that last 10 minutes and I've moved on to the next ones (with the new 20h timer). I didn't do anything special as a workaround for this so I'm thinking that some people, for whatever reason, weren't affected by this bug.

I'm actually heading back to college in January anyway, and moved back in with my mom to not have to pay rent while going to school. But yea it's been hard to find work for me.

One of my romulan projects just ended (the other has 10 minutes left) and I was able to start the next project right away, with the new 20h timer (so working as intended for me). That means that not everyone is affected by this issue, and it may be a local problem, and not something to do with the servers.

Here's a positive update guys. One of my timers for my reputation finished a minute ago (the other is almost done too). I was able to start the next project with the new 20h timer right away.

At least you got a job :P But yea, I except it to be working fine by then, at least in terms of server stability. (which is the most important thing atm)

Yea a few of my fleet mates have been too (or at least only been kicked once or twice). I just keep re-logging back in, waiting for the timers on my reputation projects to end so that I can see what happens.

Ok so that makes you east coast. Servers went down for maintenance at 10am (I know cause I was online until then). The maintenance was supposed to end at 12pm (2 hours, not 4 or 8). It's now 1:30pm and I, at least, am able to log in and stay log in for 5-10 mins at a time, enough to at least chat with fleet mates buy the…

It's not that bad, really. I've seen much worse from much bigger game companies. *cough*Blizzard*cough* If you have the time to complain, then you have the time to come up with constructive feedback or play another game while you wait.

Yea I agree, and even though I'm a f2p player now, I still think that this is just something that happens sometimes, and I've seen far worse from other games.

I was kidding about the trolling. Though I have to disagree about not fixing this problem now, as it is a patch that fixes issues that never should have gotten past Tribble, IMO.
