it did give me progress and I did open a ticket

have the same problem but it's not 100% consistent, some characters rarely encounter this and some characters can't get rid of it no matter how many times I toggle lighting 2.0

then include Orion and Andorian prefixes instead of Romulan, Terran, and Starfleet lol

after a few useless patches I'm also getting "Error 2 File not found"

I got a random patch(NOT Tuesday's weekly patch) before logging in and then this error kept popping up so whatever that patch was is the culprit

it wasn't in the notes but my warp effects are back after today's patch

happened to me and it's only my Disco character that's affected

and I want to add that this is PC only, I just tested it on Xbox and the Discovery faction warp animation works fine(as October 15 anyway) if that helps any
