Reading down this thread is like watching a slow motion train wreck. overall I dislike these change. in fact, the exchange rate of pearls to spec points just adds insult to injury. This is a sad and poor follow-up to the refreshingly successful delta recruit event. In the end, this change just means that I will be unlikely…
I imagine destroying the Preserver Archive may have been attempt to make us feel more alone in the coming challenges with the Iconians. However, if I understand correctly, it only takes one Preserver surviving to obtain the information that our poor hapless victim on Laenas intended to give us. Considering the Preserver…
I am having the same issue. In the ship interface, the Tactical and Science bridge officers 4th ability (Commander} locks to the last ability in their list of available abilities. This locked ability does not change regardless of the defaulted or selected ability.
I also suggest the development team look at the game from a casual, and new players perspective. In my opinion, unless you are in a fleet and a committed player with decent equipment most of the high level content is closed to you.
Infected: Manus (Advanced)- Queues wait is typically 5+ minutes. This started after the auto-fail conditions were added, before this it was a 1 to 2 minute wait. Along this line of thought, It can be hard for teams to know when they are going to trigger an auto-fail. I should add, I have yet to beat this STF while PUGing…
You do make a valid point. Perhaps framing it as a Harvest or Fall event would be more appropriate. I personally enjoy the idea of seeing old STO content used in new ways. In addition, the possibility of winning another starship can never hurt.
*performs an arcane ritual to resurrect the dead thread* (Seemed appropriate considering the topic) I love this idea. The event could be hosted on Qo’nos with Fek'ihri ships offered as rewards, and the Fek'ihri featured as prominent figures of the event.
Nothing empty about it. I love this game but have no need to ever purchase zen again. In short, I have the resources to get what i want from STO without purchasing ZEN. Furthermore, this is not the only game I play and plenty of developers are happy to take their players' money without treating them like exploiters. :)…
I know right!? This event was the last straw for me in regards to ever spending money with this company again. As for their "customer service" team, I am guessing they have little control over this situation while getting to enjoy a majority of the blowback.
I also encountered this issue. I misinterpreted the warning and thought the bound status was temporary. http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1286371 After reading this, there is zero chance that I will ever purchase zen again. However, I will happily continue playing the game until the developers step away…
I know the development team planned to add more mini-games, but please the "Rearrange Your Power Tray" game is not the way to go about it. :) On a more serious note, this bug is still alive and well for me. I can provide specific examples if required.
Character name Ragnar@zenjudgement Example Ship R.R.W. Raptor (Faeht Intel Warbird) Loadout "Default" History I had this issue before Delta Rising but I was able to get my tray to be stable with one of the various fixes available on the web. I can reliable repeat this issue on any ship I am using at the moment. I typically…
I have played normal and advanced. Overall I like the new queue, and it does encourage the use of more intelligent play and agro control strategies. However, I think the queue drifts towards the side of too many factions being involved. My initial response to the Undine and Voth warping in was negative, as their…
I encountered this issue on a Romulan-KDF aligned captain. I can verify the rewarded Hierarchy Science/Intelligence bridge officer as of todays patch is still flagged as Starfleet. The results of this appear to be that I am unable to increase or his Intelligence skills. I hope there will be someway to reclaim him when the…
