That's probably the thing, the only way this new dry dock system is of any value, given most players are not at max ship slot limit, is if dry dock slots are dirt cheap. On the klingon side, the voquv used to show up as a dreadnought when your health was low enough to call in support, so just because something is a carrier doesn't mean it can't be a dreadnought. Not to mention the fact that the jem'hadar and xindi carriers are both called "dreadnought carrier"

You think ALPHA looks like a vacuum? I was thinking GAMMA looks like a vacuum just the other day but chose not to belittle it. If I am not mistaken, alpha's hangar doors are the white slots along the saucer rim just to the left and right of her deflector, she may also have another set of doors further back on the saucer where those other white slots are, but I'm not sure.
