Thank you, this is the only one that worked for me, as I would never get a maximize option after clicking minimize.

I was just about to post about this, though I was going to take more of a poltergeist 2 approach with the title. Seriously, login's have been unstable for months now.

I was in and playing then go the red "Server not responding" alert, then got booted and now I get the "Login Failed for Unknown Reason" again. Totally not a resolved issue.

From my experience you can only use the uniforms available to the faction you've chosen, so the Romulan (tos or otherwise) uniforms are not an option. That's why I'm asking for them to fix this.

You have to join the faction first and then go to the faction BO vendor to get it. On this topic any chance we can get the Romulan uniforms offered for the Android and the Liberated Borg (Engineering) BOs?

They gotta make money off of us some how. I mean I haven't paid a sub for STO since launch and I'm getting all the Romulan content free, if they want to charge me for extra ships, costumes and titles I can't blame them. I forked over my money, though I didn't have to.

I think this would make most people happy. I understand that these characters are needed for story, but give me the option to get rid of them later if I so choose. It's their story I play through, so later when I have played it give me the choice to play mine.

I had that thought too... Like I said I know that data from customization is an issue for them, so this means that people who don't care about BO's will probably not bother replacing them and those that do will probably end up buying more slots.

I tend to agree it is not good to change the approach in mid-stream. This has killed other games. I want to play the content before I final judge it obviously, but I guess I'll have to wait. You know what this sounds like. They are trying to cut down the data in the game. I know customization has always been an issue. This is part of the reason Neverwinter took a similar approach with its companions. This is really unfortunate.

Actually there is a point in discussion. There is no reason this BO can't be made customizable. Yeah VO means Gender is stuck. Also the BO doesn't need to be our "First Officer". Fine he's a story driven element and I need him for the story, I get that, but don't force me to have him in my crew in a way I don't want.…

Really? Really they are going to recreate the problems that made SWTOR so boring? As someone said, one of the great things about STO was this is my story. I don't want my First Officer determined for me. I want to choose and customize who my crew is. Maybe I can get a refund on my Legacy pack...

Having tested a lot of things for Cryptic from CoH to Neverwinter, I am a little surprised that purchase of a LoR pack didn't come with beta access.
