Agreed. This comes across as somewhat of a bitter pill to swallow, but I think it's ultimately good for the health of the game. ...And my ships may yet end up feeling every bit as OP as they do now. :D

At last! Exactly ONE other person mentions the Plasma Infused consoles. With those, and phased tetryon hybrid beams, and the tendency of players (if you're a PVPer) to skimp on tetryon resistance, why WOULDN'T you consider tetryons? I posted additional build advice for Tetryons on page 4.

Tetryons are NOT useless. You just have to make sure you're doing them right. First thing to do is make sure you're firing a hybrid version of them (I prefer the Phased Tetryons).
